How can a fan of boxing hate on Pacquiao

There is a difference between criticism and hate. Everyone that says something about a fighter doesn't mean they hate him. I made a thread on this a while back, I'm going to bump it.

I know dude ain't a floyd fan.. but just discussing what I agree and disagree with. Reading what the guy is saying in his posts... he's going kinda hard.

I don't hate Manny Siensya,I'm simply tired of people criticising Floyd while giving Manny a pass,I don't know what pov means,but give me the meaning & I'll answer that too!!Cotto at a catchweight & now Margarito,this is coming from the pfp king!!

Actually I have made a few threads to piss Floyd fans off....such as the Floyd will get Ko'd by Marquez, Peterson took Floyds prime in a sparring session, and Floyd vs Shane should be in the fantasy section.

Those were tounge n cheek type threads, but when ever I really speak on Floyd, such as burners show etc. I have no issues giving Floyd props. I never critised the Baldomir fight as that was the fight that should have happened, and I never knocked his wins over Hatton, Mosley, or Oscar.

Honestly I was just discussing with a few individuals about Floyd and his legacy, saying he is a lock for top 50 ATG, is one of the top 3 defensive fighters of all time, and one of this era's greatest fighters.

The reason I make threads like the ones above, is because people get hurt that I don't suck him off 24-7 and call me a hater. So every now n then I will give them something really to get upset over. Maybe that's childish...whatever, but when it comes to sitting down and keeping it real, I do and give Floyd props. I wish you would do the same and quite trying to discredit Manny's recent accomplishments.

For the record...No I don't believe Floyd cherry picks. Even if he did...he has earned the right as he has paid his dues and has establish himself as the sports top fighter (along with Manny).

My thing is this....you can't fight the best every single time you step in the ring. No one in the history of the sport does that....but at the same time you should challenge yourself, on top of taking a money fight, or a layup fight everynow n then.

Ahhhhhhhh,well,I think that's the same for me,I invite U to go check out all of the treads I've made,I've always given Manny his credit!!I know he's done a lot of good things for boxing as well & that his legacy is sealed,but I'm a little tired of the(Floyd hate,Manny love) issue right now,so currently I point out the facts about why he isn't that much better,U know,to even things out a little!!

In this day and age of the internet everybody is a hater. I do agree about the fans though anytime a fighter gets a loyal following they make it easier to root against them.

People don't hate on Pacquiao around here so much as they hate on *******s.

Whenever you get a fighter that has a huge minority following, such as Pacquiao, esp. ones that do not follow the sport at all, but because they're Filipino and watch Pacquiao they believe that they're experts and historians, you're going to have real boxing fans that get annoyed.

People don't hate the Pac man - they hate the *******. I like Manny Pacquiao but coming on here and reading all the nonsense it makes you want to point out all his faults to his cult.

He's entertaining, but he isn't what *******s make him out to be - not even close.
