How can a fan of boxing hate on Pacquiao

Manny is a living legend. He's one of the most likeable guy outside the ring, but inside the ring he transforms into a BEAST. I have total respect for him and you could say that since the Barerra fight, I've been a fan ever since.
As someone else mentioned, its the hardcore fanbase that makes Pac's image kind of bad. But then again, hardcore fans (ex: *****s) hates on Pac because of his fans and even protecting their favorite boxer Floyd.

Whether is not agreeing to the first negotiations, catchweights, or fixed fights... hardcore floyd fans will always have a reason to discredit manny, and vice-versa.
You guys have to accept the fact that there's always extremists out there.

Wow, just finished watching Pacquiaos greatest hits and I have to say, how can anyone call themselves a boxing fan and hate on Pacquiao..

i wouldn't take his resume as reason to like him, because some fighter has the same incrediblle resume too but i didnt like them(ex: may) the reason im become pacfan is because i think he is the most exciting fighter all time , His step away move, his double jab followed by lefthand,he's stamina, his footwork,his hands speed combination, his head movement, he clap his glove when he gets hits, he fighting with bloody eyes, and his power. there no way true boxing boxing fan can hate him.

After every sucessful person they will always be haters. Pac is a great fighter but some of his hardcore fans get carried away. There are catchweights and only Top Rank fighters but in the end he wins convincingly and in an impressive manner. Opinion is always going to be different from person to person and we not going always to agree where his place will be in history.

It is a shame that a Floyd/Pac fight might never happen cause that would cement either guy place in history

I realized that Pacman himself is a cherrypicker,I seen the light!!The facts are that Pacman has 3 title fights over 147,but only 1 was at an actual limit!!Why didn't he fight Cotto at 147 & why is he fighting Margarito at 150 for a vacant 154lb title??

Pacman has been cheating the sport by draining elite fighters,then beating them in spectacular fashion,that's what he does,Floyd simply fights the guys he knows he should beat,but at real weights(except for Marquez),but that wasn't for a title!!

I used to love Manny when He was human. Today He's not the same humble boxer He was once and 90% of his fans come accross as ignorants of the sport, but yet they like to argue with everyone senselessly.
Some have been doing their homework and I'm glad Manny and getting spank motivated them to learn the sport. To those I say Welcome.
To the other I say, You will be done and gone as soon as Manny is.

How can you call Manny a cherry picker when his last three fights were Cotto, Clottey and now Margarito? None of them were drained and have said so themselves (even afterwards when most boxers use anything as an excuse as to why they loss).
