....simple way of looking at it.....if the shane vs cotto was an eliminator to get floyd , cotto would've gotten floyd instead of shane ...right?....simple enough for you?...

even if it was an eliminator, floyd was coming from a win over oscar and who did floyd fight after? hatton.. let me see undefeated champ or damage good fighter, ill take a undefeated champ fight for 10mil please.

Shane vs Cotto was 2 1/2 years ago..

It wasn't an eliminator, because Cotto got the hell beaten out of him by Margarito and Clottey since the Shane fight.

Which happens to matter.

i said if it was.....i stated my resaons why cotto would've been a tougher if it was between the two altho i also said shane made more sense since he was ranked higher than cotto did....

Right. Its funny how people make it seem as though Cotto beat Shane and then fought Manny in the very next fight. But, those fights were 2 years apart. During that span, Cotto fought 4 different fighters, THEN he fought Manny last year in November.

He beat Shane a WHOLE TWO YEARS PRIOR to fighting Manny in November of last year. HELLO.

And age doesn't always equal better or fresher or a bigger challenge. Let's not forget that Cotto had been in alot of tough tough fights. Namely the Tony fight.

Haha.I dont remember discrediting it,but i wont make out its something its not
If you read any of my comments you would realize im a fan of floyd due to his skills,but get very frustrated with him due to the fact he doesnt seem too bothered about proving them against the best out there
