I can't believe Dirrell used that punch to not only get out of the Abraham fight but now he's also used it to get out of the fight with his bff Andre Ward. Dirrell needs to retire and should be more worried about his lack of a backbone than being brain damaged by "that punch".

Retire, if that punch messed him up to the point he can't fight now. Not a concussion, nor a bleed just a problem. Maybe they should check the nerves that run from his balls to his heart to his brain, I don't doubt there's damage.

I said back in October of 2009 that they wouldnt fight in this tournament, that by the time they were scheduled to fight that at least one would pull out, my reasons were there is too much more money to be made if they fought later. And that is exactly what is going to happen. Dirrell isnt pulling out because he's Ward's friend, its because they stand to make much more money when they fight down the line. Too bad Showtime couldnt see this coming, it was pretty obvious to me.

If he is seriously hurt and can't really fight, then retire and live a long, healthy life- my sincerest apologies for my comments. If it is all a lie to avoid a fight with Ward right now (which is definitely what I think), he deserves to never fight again because he would be a deceitful scumbag who needs to be an actor, not a boxer.
