Floyd has been WW since 2005. Those guys (Williams, Cotto, Margo and Pac) you mentioned WERE AROUND between 2005 - Present but Floyd didn't fight them.

Part of Floyd's criticism is that he fought a bum like Baldo but never fought the ones he should have when they were the most feared.

how many years since 2005 did Floyd spend on the sidelines retired??? Yes he came back....but most who retire do!!! He retired after the ODLH fight, and then again after the Hatton fight. So yes he has been a welter since 2005, but are you tying to tell me he should have fought Williams and Margarito instead of HAtton and Oscar.......seriously????

How many years was it that Baldomir hadn't lost? 8? So of course he were legit. Floyd is a LW fighting at WW. Baldomir outweighed Floyd by a large scale.

Please, let me know of the elite fighters that he won during those 8 years? Anyone can go for a long stretch like that until they face real opponents.

Oh, it's funny that you mention Floyd being small but forget to mention that the only reason he got the title is that he beat 2 smaller guys than Floyd. Gatti, who was not a 147 fighter and Zab, who I believe should have stayed at 140. Finally, this was not Floyd's first fight at WW and his next fight, he weighed in officially at 150!!!

Why didn't Pac fight Margarito instead of ODLH at 147 when he was peak instead of fighting Margarito now???? So which one.....a 35 year old ODLH who hadn't made 147 in 7 or so years or a 30 year old Margarito??? Which would have been the harder fight???

Shane did a demolition job on Margarito.....he looked great. So Floyd decides he is suddenly shot and it's safe to fight him, when only a year earlier it wasn't??????

You must admit that taking a vacation and not facing all these guys when they were the most feared does not look good....... now he did it again while the other guy is looking for him and accepting OST.

Hatton (140 fighter) is like fighting Baldo and like fighting Marquez(135 fighter). It favored Floyd big time. Oscar, while I would agree that it was a smart move to make that fight ..... if you care to check Oscar's stats and extra curricular activities, it pushed the fight in Floyd's favor, big time.

So, instead of fighting a Marquez, Baldo and Hatton and be on vacation, he could have fought a Manny, Margo, Williams and an undefeated Cotto
