Floyd has been WW since 2005. Those guys (Williams, Cotto, Margo and Pac) you mentioned WERE AROUND between 2005 - Present but Floyd didn't fight them.

Part of Floyd's criticism is that he fought a bum like Baldo but never fought the ones he should have when they were the most feared.

i give floyd credit for not making demands on any of these fighters at the time he fought them. He played by their rules and beat them, and now that he is the king @ 147 you can't knock him for making demands on those wanting to challenge him. He has that right, he has earned it, but most will disagree. (talking about the drug tests). Anyways, i am not thrilled about margarito getting a shot, and i wish cotto would be the one to retire him, but even so i still don't agree with letting him return. He should be fighting for pesos in tijuana. Pac and floyd have a lot in common, but i think the cherrypicking is about even at this point. Floyd atleast is obvious about the 'payday" aspect of the fight, as pac still tries to pretend he fights for the fans. If that was true he would have agreed to any bull**** demand floyd gave him the first time around.

Fights with Cotto or Margarito were easily the biggest fights to be made at that time and their potential just kept getting bigger and bigger, especially in Miguel's case. He kept taking big fights and winning them, which just made a Mayweather showdown (seemingly)inevitable. But I don't think there was ever a complete duck of a Mega-Fight like that in the past 20 years up until Mayweather completely ignored the main guys at 147. Plus Mayweather didn't even fight Judah until he got man handled by Baldomir. And you're wondering if people would worry about a Judah showdown? Are you serious? As for Baldomir I don't think anyone thought highly enough of him to think anything foul if Floyd did not fight him. Especially when there were far better fighters in the division like Miguel Cotto.

Not seeing Cotto vs Mayweather at that moment in time is like if Trinidad never fought De La Hoya, or Mosley never fought Forrest, or if Hearns never fought Leonard etc etc.

why did floyd fake retire to avoid a cotto fight? you can spew all your 10 million crap all you want but the bottom line is floyd wanted none of cotto none! floyd made demands he knew wouldn't be met just like he did against pac. then when pac agreed to all his demands he fake retired again.

time frame 2008-a cotto mayweather super fight which would have made floyd a lot more than 10 million dollars does not happen cause floyd fake retires.
