No he was not, he was suppose to fight Margarito. Since Margarito was the highers rank WW not named Floyd. But, when Margarito lost, Cotto chose a higher rank fighter than P-Will, a bigger money fight than P-Will, A bigger name than P-Will in Shane Mosley.

??? He took the Kolle fight in between his HBO dates. It was on Versus. HBO didn't want another Quintana fight after Paul starched him in a minute so they took on Verno for the 154 WBO title. Because Cotto and Jennings ducked him.

HBO didn't want P-Will -Kolle either and it didn't stop them for making that fight. So again he should of Quintana for a third time.

I don't care how it looked it in the rematch Quintana>Kolle Period.

The Ring? Their rankings were influenced by GB even before the sale. How could Mosley be ranked ahead of a champion that beat #2 Margarito (behind Floyd)? Doesn't even make sense. Cotto became the mandatory after Jennings ducked. Cotto did too. WBO had no fighter to fight Paul that would keep his HBO date so he took on Verno.

Man. The HBO date was the date he fought VERNO. The Kolle fight was a Versus date to keep Paul ACTIVE in between HBO dates. Kolle was NEVER an option for HBO. Mosley was not ranked ahead of Paul by ANYBODY in boxing other than the corrupt ring rankings if that's true.

no it wasnt plus i don't think hbo wanted that fight plus no fan would want to see it after quintana being destroyed like that. He was just trying to open up more doors for himself since none of the big names would even consider fighing him. I don't think cotto would ever get in the ring with paul or any other welter like berto shane floyd or pac they just use the hes unknown excuse but yet they fight guys like mora clottey gomez who are even less unknown than paul who has hbos backing

I guess, I didn't seen those rankings at the time. So I don't know I can't say. But, I will take your word for it.

However, I do know that The Ring had Shane higher. and stop bring up the belt that means ****.

Should Pac or Floyd fight Berto or K9 instead of P-Will cuz they have belts and P-Will doesn't?

I mean you see how silly that sounds. The belt means nothing IMO just cuz they're all corrupt IMO.

That is not divisional rankings.

Like you mentioned ESPN. and I think that ESPN has Moreno at #5 or not even at the top 5 at bantamweight and that to me is more laughable since it is a divisional(Which should be about facts) ranking compared to a mythical opinion based ranking.
