yea, dont get me wrong. i dont think he deserves this huge money or even a shot after that last performance but I just see all the people complaining about him wanting "2mil" when we just dont know truthfully how much he was asking

I think Kushner is just spinning the issue because Tua isn't ready for a shot against Wlad, judging from what I saw in Atlantic City.
Ready for what though? Quitting in his corner, stopped by the ref or ending the fight on the canvas. Those are about his only options here. A win is (and frankly always has been) out of the question.

Tua was probably afraid of getting his big fat face destroyed. That's probably what killed the fight.

Whatever they offered him, it was too high.

I think I speak for all Tua fans and haters when I say get your fat lazy Samoan ass in the ring, Ike still may be heavyweight champion before Tua. Tua is the poster boy for the heavyweight division, overweight,overpaid,over-hyped,over rated, under achiever. The ten-year comeback trail leads to a rematch with Monte Barrett, muck fe.

Prime Lennox, Prime Ike, Prime Maskaev, Prime Rahman, Prime Ruiz, Prime Byrd....I can go on and on about David Tua. To say that either sister has fought competition comparable to this great man is downright dishonest.

David Tua is an exciting opponent, and should be respected in these negotiations. 40% is the minimum he should accept.
True, Tua has a pretty awesome resume, but most of those fights happened an age ago in literally another millennium! His best oponent these past seven years have been an overweight Rahman who unofficially knocked him down and got a BS draw, and a a shot to shaggery Monte Barrett who officially knocked him down and got another bull**** draw. Tua is a non-entity in this current heavyweight scene and should have been honoured to fight Wlad for the heavyweight championship of the world. Instead he acted like every other delusional wankster and turned it down on the basis of money. Or maybe he was scared of getting put in the hospital. Who knows? At any rate his whole comeback or whatever the hell it is has been an absolute joke and I hope tubby island boy enjoys fighting the Chauncey Wellivers of the world for chummp change for the rest of his career because at this point that's all he's good for.

TUA should just take the fight,no excuses.

He will never get another title shot if he loses again.

Its not a lowball when its the fighters highest payday by far, people reject an 800k offer from Wlad to fight for 200-300k and then crymouth about being lowballed. Unless the fighter is the #1 worldwide contender then a 55/45 or even 50/50 is good but when you are a bum or a unproven guy whos highest payday is like 300k than you get offered 500-700 and you call it lowballing?
