According to Cedric Kushner, promoter for David Tua, a lowball offer killed a potential fight with WBO/IBO/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko. Klitschko's team approached Kushner about securing Tua for a December 11 bout in Germany. Kushner said they were so far apart on the money that he saw no reason to continue the negotiations.

Exactly lets put it into perspective David Haye put Barret down 5 times and stopped him in round 5. Tua didn't put him down at all infact got put down by Barret and was lucky to escape with a draw..

Look at the resumes and who the champs are then you see who is making what $$$.

So #1 Ranked contender with a good resume deserves 25%
but a paper champ with 3 hw fights against bums and 1/10th the draw power/ resume deserves more $$$ than the champ or deserves even 50/50?
