David Tua doesn't deserve even half the money he used to get when he fought the best in 2000. His inactivity and level of opponents made him a non-factor in the heavyweight division for the past 8 years!! He may as well have been retired and fighting exhibition fights!

They guy was lucky enough to still be boxing while K2 had beaten everyone worth beating who wasn't ducking a title opportunity, someone needs to let him know this isn't 1999.

I dont think Tua is ready yet for this fight and they knew it and use a nice way to reject the fight.

I was at the Tua - Barrett fight and Monte was actually in spectacular shape for that one, but Tua ran out of gas after about 4 rounds. They claimed injury after the fight, but I think that was more injured pride than anything, as Tua had been picked to KO Barrett in about 2 rounds by most people.

I think Kushner is just spinning the issue because Tua isn't ready for a shot against Wlad, judging from what I saw in Atlantic City.

Tua got schooled by Byrd, Vitali was way ahead on the cards.

Vitali didn't duck Rahman, he was injured and had surgery. Wlad dominated Rahman for ever minute of every round, Tua didn't.

If you think John Ruiz is the best fighter of the 2000s, you must be ******.

Don't disrespect the Klitschkos.

David Tua fought tougher opposition than both Klitschkos combined and escaped with only 3 losses never being ko'd or tkod in his career.

Prime Lennox, Prime Ike, Prime Maskaev, Prime Rahman, Prime Ruiz, Prime Byrd....I can go on and on about David Tua. To say that either sister has fought competition comparable to this great man is downright dishonest.

David Tua is an exciting opponent, and should be respected in these negotiations. 40% is the minimum he should accept.
