Wow.... This response of yours was lame. And, you agree with the poster that Margarito is the champ.

Why "was" moron. Ask the two fighters why since they negotiated the weight stipulation... The fight wasalways promoted as a ww title fight. Some ****** mofo's actually think that Floyd weighed in 2 lbs over on purpose as if that was some sort of advantage lol...

So, how do u know how his body was responding? Anyone saying that FMJ didn't try to make weight is just speculating. JMM signed the contract to make it a 147 fight w/ penalties above 144 so it was a legit fight and it wasn't for a belt. Big difference.

Pac asked for 145 in the negotiations for Cotto. Far b4 weigh in time, so that was another time that there was no other reason to ask, other than to weaken a fighter. A fighter that Roach had already said was "not the same fighter" after fighting Margarito, I might add.
pac vs cotto/margarito = both knew that the target weight far before weigh in time so they had alot of time to prepare for it.

floyd vs jmm = last minute weight changes. jmm was trying to make 144 (as if it weren't tough enough) most of the training camp, not 147. it's like he was held at gunpoint when pbf informed them he couldn't make 144.

FMJ fough ODH at HIS weight weighing in at a much lower weight. No catchweight, not a weight that he hadn't fought in 7 yrs and not w/a dehydration clause either. So FMJ doesn't have the history of trying to weaken or getting a weight advantage over his opponents like Pac does.
Check the stats. FMJ was the smaller fighter in most of his fights
yes, because jmm was like a Pudzianowski at that weight...

Did anyone else know the weight was dropped to 150lbs? That went under the radar till I read what Margarito said. If it was against someone else I might care more but I'm not sympathetic to Margarito so he can deal with it.

Wait, if such a small weight difference isn't an advantage, why do you discredit Pacquiao's win over Cotto? He was only asked to weigh 2 pounds below 147 yet, you constantly bring up that fight to show how much of a "fraud" Pacquiao is.

              So which is it then?

I dont mind the 144 catchweight, nor do i mind the 151 catchweight. Floyd was wrong for coming in overweight but atleast that wasnt for a vacant #1 147 title because that would have been just incredibly wrong. Thats the main issue i have.
