No Williams doesnt usaully throw solid punches. Its rare when he sits on his punches.
The uppercut he throws aren't solid, cause when I see him fighting in close quarters, his opponents head is usually flying up. You don't have sit on a punch for it to be solid.

He should lose that most feared nonsense cause his last two opponents have worked him really nice.

but we shall see in the rematch, if anybody benefits from a full camp to prepare for an opponent style it will be Williams IMO
I think Paul just has his number.

Martinez hit Paul with EVERYTHING he had. Williams kept punching him in the face.

I see Paul winning more convincngly.

Well Williams is on and off with his punches. Sometimes he throws a hard jab , sometimes its a "points" jab. Same with his "power" punches.

I really dont care about a most feared tag. Williams reputation for being avoided at 147 is WELL documented.

But if you have a couple rookie judges, his flurries and volume might sway the untrained eye.
The judge who scored it 119-110 Williams was no rookie, dude was senile.

And speaking of not landing, Jim Lampley was on Martinez's **** that night. I recall specifically Williams landing like 5 hard punches in a row late in the fight.. Lampley said nothing. Martinez THROWS 2 punches in return, "WOW 6 HARD PUNCHES IN A ROW BY MARTINEZ!"

              Gimmie a break.

The fight could have went either way, stop crying. Pusssies.

I agree, and I think the rematch is a 50/50 pick'em fight. They both would bring the best out of each other.

You're just jealous that Martinez gets more poon than you. Williams never landed 5 punches in a row, maybe hitting air or Sexy's gloves, but thats about it.

Well, in my book if Paul Williams wins the fight He will not get FULL credit because He made the champion come down a few pounds.

IF Catchweight beatches want full credit, then fight the Champions at their weight class.

True, but you also have to use some common sense, why would a guy that 5-6 or 5-8, want to fight a guy who's 6-2. That doesn't make any sense for those guys to take that fight, he needs to be worried about the Jr. Middleweight division now, that division is loaded with guys who can beat him at any time.
