HBO doesn't exactly send their production team down to Mexico every month. Dude not being able to fight in America is a big deal. I'm sure his promoter and HBO are going to lose some serious cash over this.

He was exciting but was in line to be used as a stepping stone by Martinez or Kirkland anyway.

He had been giving HBO problems if you guys don't remember, I' sure they're glad to get rid of the dude.

Really tough loss. Angulo's a machine. No doubt that he'll be able to fight bums in Mexico, but not nearly for the amount of loot he could get here in the US.

I said he would get "BLACK BALLED" for walking away from the Martinez fight and it is starting I like Angulo so it sucks that HBO has turned their back on him but I can't really say I blame them

Showtime boxing coverage has improved A LOT though so I don't think it is a bad thing at all fighting on Showtime

Somebody had to know about his status for tax purposes. I'm sure someone paid him in 2008 and 2009. Something is not adding up... I'm sure he has a tax return somewhere. If not he should stay anyway he pays way more in taxes than 99% of Americans. He's good for the economy. BTW, how many illegal Canadians and Europeans have been deported recently??? You have no idea what ur talking about. ICE doesn't issue visas! USCIS issues residence and U.S. Consulate issues visas its all up to the Consulate. That's why they issue waivers and pardons, to visas. That's why waivers exist in getting visas, because people make mistakes and they are forgiven for what they did. Now granted he can be barred from the country let's say about a yr, then apply for a waiver and get a visa. Thank You. Not saying he will get it but there's still a chance

Arum is acting all glad about this because he knows Perro would've put the beat down on Cotto. I hate to see this happen. But Angulo went against the grain and put HBO and everybody involved with him at risk. And there might be legal action against some other people including them that we don't know about yet.

If this story is true it's pretty sad. Angulo never had Mayweather skills but he was exciting to watch and dangerous. I doubt anyone will travel over to Mexico to fight him.

HBO didn't break any immigration laws, Angulo did.

As for Kirkland, he committed a crime and he's doing the time for it. Once he serves his time, he's paid his debt to society.
