Dude was putting someone else's money, serious money, on the line and was here illegally the whole time? Didnt even tell his promoter and managers, who stood to lose their asses?
What if the Martinez fight had been made and was being promoted?
I sure as hell wouldn't touch that guy again. Damn.Comment

exactley hypocrisy at its finest and really hbo loses showtime loses , everyone does, its their loss perros career isnt over plenty of fighters dont live here . hell half the biggest stars in the sport arent american or really have papers, they got visas and applied for it before getting busted , this guy didnt so his career over??? no way.wishful thinking the writer or people in charge need to take a more pragmatic approach....Comment

HBO doesn't exactly send their production team down to Mexico every month. Dude not being able to fight in America is a big deal. I'm sure his promoter and HBO are going to lose some serious cash over this.
He was exciting but was in line to be used as a stepping stone by Martinez or Kirkland anyway.
He had been giving HBO problems if you guys don't remember, I' sure they're glad to get rid of the dude.
Maybe he can rematch Kermit in PR since Cotto *****ed out.Comment

because ICE will not issue a visa to somebody who has already violated immigration laws. The college debate topic write now is immigration, so I've been getting informed on it bit by bit.
They definitely have visas specifically for athletes. I don't understand why Alfredo Angulo can't just live out of Mexico and get P-1 visas whenever he wants to fight in the US. That would stop the US government from cracking down on HBO for televising his fights in the US.
I'm a bit unclear why this is considered such a major roadblock to be honest.Comment
