Only because Holy's recuperative prowess would come in effect but Holy chin was able to be rocked even in his prime evidence of his bouts with Smokin' Bert Cooper and Bowe. I don't think Holyfield would be able to KO Toney though he has a solid chin and even took some of Evanders best punches in their "real" bout. It's all about timing and James caught Holy in the best time for a KO. Don't forget James may have a big mouth that turns fans off but you can't underestimate his skill he really is the definition of the word "veteran savy".

Holy's chin was damaged by Foreman, before foreman holy was unstoppable, Although both holy and Ali won, foreman hurt their careers

Holyfield, in his prime, would more than likely TKO James Toney. I could very well see Toney being caught by a barrage of short, chopping combinations and the referee stopping the fight.

James Toney, is one of the all time great fighters. He is not a natural heavyweight. He was a rather fat cruiserweight and light heavyweight to be honest. He was a great middleweight.

Even though Evander was a former light heavy, he still was a big man. One of the best bodies in boxing history and I'll say he was at his prime when he beat Michael Dokes by TKO. Michael Dokes was a bad ass and Evander just overwhelmed him via pressure and exhaustion. I don't think James Toney could have beaten Michael Dokes, so I definitely couldn't see him going the distance with Evander back then.

Id still love to be in Holyfields and Alis place, everyone calling me a great one with millions of dollars, but now i think ,they couldve taken a different course in choosing opponents and being without the brain damage

This one is easy. Evander is a blown up light Heavyweight that was physically capable of handling most of the true Heavyweights of his era. His diet and conditioning were unbelievable as he became a champion. While Toney is a middle / supermiddle weight super hero fighting at heavyweight. Remember without the middleweight battles Toney never becomes a great heavyweight. So Holyfield all the way.

Yep Foreman did have one hell of a punch. I think Rid**** Bowe had something to do with him getting KO'd as well. He was the last person to do it before Toney did. But I see your point that Foreman "loosened his jaw" so to speak.

Holy and Toney could never meet in their primes cuz they would be in totally different weight classes so you really can't compare these two properly.

You have lost your privelege to ever speak about James Toney again. You just nullified everything you stated before it. You have no idea what you're talking about. Toney has never been hurt in a fight, so how the hell are you gonna tell me he's been knocked out?!?!? SHUT THE HELL UP

You could have just told me I was arguing with idiots before I bothered responding to this thread. This is why I hate trying to discuss boxing with people who don't know the sport at all. So many of you just hate Toney because he either made fun of your favorite fighter or because he whooped their ass so you try to suggest so and so could KO Toney, a guy who's never been hurt in over 70 fights, not even once in 70 fights. This is ridiculous.
