Coercion (pronounced /koʊˈɜrʃən/) is the practice of forcing another party to behave in an involuntary manner (whether through action or inaction) by use of threats, intimidation, trickery, or some other form of pressure or force. Such actions are used as leverage, to force the victim to act in the desired way. Coercion may involve the actual infliction of physical pain/injury or psychological harm in order to enhance the credibility of a threat
so basically it can be seen as assault as well? I am surprised they just did not charge him with assault instead of coercion. either way he hit her and thats the reason they charged him with the above
not the same thing as battery/assault because u use the threat of battery/assault to get someone to do what u want them to. u get it?
Trumped up charges...gotta love our justice system
fellas got to be careful when dealing with these women. A mnay man has fallen to the hands of a woman!!!
Floyd could have been a real man. He didn't have to go back at 5am and hit her in front of kids. Floyd is ruining himself. If your woman is with another man, get over it, forget her, find a new woman. You don't have to hit her and take her phone. Floyd doesn't own her, she is free do live her life as she pleases. And then he threatens the kids, what kind of man does that? If Floyd knows she is prone to lying then why show up after being excorted off premises 3 hours earlier. A real man keeps his cool, he stays in control. There were other less violent ways to get her back if he wanted too.
Lil' Floyd is thanking the bugeesus out of Josie right now, she has no idea how much this is going to help his ducking game. Manny Pac is going to have to wait 2+ years before the fight can happen, by that time Manny will be long retired.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. has officially been charged with felony counts of coercion, robbery and grand larceny -- as well as 4 other misdemeanors -- for the alleged domestic incident with his baby mama in Las Vegas. [Click Here To Read More]
Damn, floyd got too much time on his hands and gets up to mischieve. He needs to get back in the ring where we can keep an eye on him.
Yeah kinda, just seems a bit strange to me, if he hit her by punching her, he kinda should have been charged with both if I am not mistaken.
im not sure that they are charging him with coercion towards her or the kids. also in prosecutorial discretion, the prosecutor tends to go for the more serious crimes over the less serious ones. assault/battery would have most likely been midemeanors, but coercion is a felony. so its more **** for your buck.
fraud jr psyche is all messed up because everyone knows hes afraid of manny, and frankly hes jealous as hell of mannys sucsess every body hates fraud and everybody loves manny, so fraud jr is lashing out, like gaylahoya said its a cry for help.

For the most part I agree with u. But on 1 hand this female was living in his guest house where he pays the bills, moved another person into the guesthouse, wasn't keeping it clean, and then had the nerve to defiantly say she sleeping with another guy who he apparently knows well, Watson is from vegas!!! she is real foul. If she wanted to seeother guys and what not, then she should have left his property and established her own residence.
and fathers threaten their kids all the time. I don't know how mnay times i have heard someone threaten to whoop their kids if they didn't do what they were told.
but i agree with u in that he shouldn't have been arguing or roughing up their mother in front of them. Bad decision, but emotions affect your decisons so I can understand why the altercation.
People with money in the U.S aren't subject to the same level of justice the rest of us are. Mayweather will pay some fines, publicly apologize and that will be that.
Worse comes to worse he will be put on some sort of probation for a few months and thats it.
