ever thought about making a post that wasn't completely ******ed? def top five or so on the dumbest poster on BS list.

if wlad was so terrible then he wouldn't be winning right now. tell me - who would you have him fight? who would beat him right now?

im sure you will come up with some ******ation about how the klitschkos are ducking people. please - entertain us - its always hilarious, yet sad.

He is probably the last heavyweight who will ever achieve that milestone.
who has the most knockouts of all time and how many?

im sure there will be another guy to come along eventually. maybe in our lifetime - maybe not. time is a long thing my friend, and boxing will be around for a long time too. your claim is a bit absurd.

I've read quite a couple biased ridiculous articles here, many signed by the Pacquiao lover (what's his name again ?), but this...

...this is the most disgusting piece I've ever read. So biased and foolish. I'm about to puke all over my computer.

damn, that's what I just did...

So Wlad, who is a great and dominant fighter, no doubt, but who has never beaten even one HOFer, this guy, if he beats the overmatched, sacrificial lamb Tomasz Adamek, and the former cruiserweight champion David Haye, so this guy will put Tyson, Holmes and Holyfield in the rear mirror ???

too bad the laptop doesn't have an AI, because it would have slapped the writer right in the face

btw, the ending of the article is totally out of context

side note to the Klitards : please refrain yourselves from replying because I don't give a **** what you think while you seem to give a whole lot about what I think

if what I say don't please you/ fit your agenda, you can **** off and ignore me

It's not absurd at all. It's common sense.

It's been 40 years already since somebody achieved it and fighters are fighting less and less with each passing generation.

The chances of another Heavyweight Champion who is not only as active as Klitschko, but also knocks out 90% of his opponents aren't very good.

Plus, he's probably gonna make it to 55 or 60, which will be even less likely to be matched by any future heavyweight.

I dislike how people bring up stats like 'most KOs since blah blah' or 'most title defences since so and so'. That can be extremely misleading, and is not a reason for greatness. the most consecutive KOs is actually held by is Lamar Clark at 44 and Billy Fox at 43...they werent good fighters. Zsolt Erdie has 11 consecutive title defences...although he actually is a decent fighter, hes so protected that hes not even discussed of when you think of Light Heavyweight matchups. talk about being irrelevant.
statistics dont make you great, its who you beat(and how) that matters.

That being said, Wladimir is well on his way to becoming one of the best heavyweights of all time. All he has to do is continue fighting the best opponents available(like he has) and continually dominating(like he has). The division is admittedly very weak, but you almost never see the kind of dominance that he is exercising on the division at this time. Wladimir isnt just a big guy: hes very skilled too. Hes a special fighter.

...a win over his brother would certainly help out his legacy too, and a lot, but that matchup probably isnt going to happen...

maybe, but somewhere a long the line - maybe 150 years from now - but at some point it will be broken. that is if wlad even gets there. i am not so confident that he will make it to 60, i am curious how much longer he will even fight if the best fighters of the division wont fight him.

edit - you still never answered my original question.

i never said that i thought wlad accomplished more than those guys - in some respects he did, but resume wise they will always have a better resume. to deem it impossible for him to gain any serious recognition based on this alone is lame IMO. he doesn't have the competition available to fight that those guys did - but by watching him fight, i feel, and many others feel that he would give trouble to/beat many of the top guys throughout history. i think that if you combine this with the fact that he is dominating the division as hard as it can be dominated right now - eventually recognition is due. resume is a large part of the equation - but when ever there is really no one left to add (not including the guys who won't fight you), you have to use your head and say - how does he match up with everyone from the past?

i don't necessarily agree with everything the article says - TBH i never liked any of fitz articles anyway. but i do like that wlad is starting to get legitimate recognition. he will never have the resume that most of the ATGs had. but to say that he can never rank among them is unfair. if some guy came along and cleaned out the entire division AND cleaned out the klitschkos - then you can surely bet he would be right in the ATG debate.

i don't think that wlad has done enough yet to warrant the greatness that some of those guys have achieved - but i do think that he will do it before his career is over, and at some point - everyone is going to have to give him the credit for it - even you, and joeyzagz.

I don't get this guy? He does nothing but ***** and complain about the Klit brothers competition yet he seems to tout Joe Calzaghe as one of the all time greatest. Newsflash Joey: If you compared Joe's record to that of the Klit brothers. I guarantee you that they have beat a hell of lot more top ten in their prime fighters than Calzaghe ever dreamed of doing. And I am even a Calzaghe fan. And I wonder if you happen to be British and your attack on the Klit brothers is some kind misdirected anger because one of your heroes, David Haye, has tuned out to be such a wuss?
