The argument that I always love hearing from the Klitschko haters is "what HOF has Wlad beaten?" To the people who always ask that ****** question - are you all ****ing dense? Do you know how a fighter gets into the IBHOF? They get in at least 5 years AFTER they retire, it could even take longer than that. So hence, since MOST of Wlad competition has not retired yet or has recently retired, you are not going to see them in the IBHOF YET. Do you dunces understand this?

Here are some champs that Wlad has beaten that WILL get into the IBHOF -

    Chris Byrd
    Ray Mercer
    Hasim Rahman

Here are the ones that have a possibility of getting in still -
    Ruslan Chagaev

Wladimir Klitschko has beaten 7 world champs and has had 14 world title defenses, and he is still fighting. He is closing in on Holmes' 20 title defenses record, although they will not be consequitive, just beating having that number of defenses puts him in the top 10 ATGs of all time.

Wlad is going into the IBHOF even if he were to loose his next 3 fights, but he will probably not loose again until he retires so he has still another 3-4 years of putting up some serious numbers. He is now working at his GOAT status because his ATG status is already secure. I know that pains you ****ing haters, but that is how it is.

      Chris Byrd - Highly Unlikely
      Ray Mercer - NO
      Hasim Rahman - NO
Chagaev - Hell to the NO

Not a chance. I'm a voter. I know plenty of voters. Your prediction there is laughable. they'll all get in when Greg Page and Michael Dokes do. Wake me when the wait is over.

Wlad might not beat a prime HOFer to go to the Hall but he's going. Holmes only real HOF win was Norton (Ali was just a name) and Norton is as fringe as a HOFer could be.

There are hundreds of voters and just cause in your biased opinion Byrd is not getting in, he is. Two-time HW champ with wins over Vitaly and Holyfield, he is getting in. Rahman, two-time HW champ with a win over Lewis. There are a lot worse champs in the HOF than Rahman or Mercer.

Chagaev, if he fights Haye and beats him and has a couple of other wins, has a chance of getting in.

Point being is that it's too early to say "what HOF fighter has Wlad beaten" until all of the fighters he has beaten have been retired a looooong time, which hasn't happened yet. Which was the whole point of my post.

I highly doubt Byrd, Mercer, nor Rahman will get in. They just wont.

You doubt it but you will not know for sure until at least 5 years from now. So until then, the question of "what HOF has Wlad beat" is a pointless exercise in moronic haterdom.

What is biased about my opinion? This isn't about personal animus towards any of the four. The facts indicate they will struggle to get on the ballot five years after retirement much less get in.

I could see someone making a case for Byrd but he has some serious resume issues and I'd be floored if he got in. Is Buster Douglas in the Hall? He and Rahman are about equivalent. I'll answer for you: he's not even on the ballot.

Since the Heavyweight title fell into splits almost permanently after Ali (with just a few blips otherwise), almost none of the men who held just belts (i.e. were not universally regarded at some point as THE champ) have made the ballot.

Going back to the WBA split in the 60s, here are some the beltholders who have not been up for a vote and likely never will among those out at least five years:

              Ernie Terrell
              Gerrie Coetzee
              Mike Weaver
              John Tate
Witherspoon (could get a vote someday but to date has not; is the best of the lot including the men you mention)
              Pinklon Thomas
              Trevor Berbick
              Francesco Damiani
              Bonecrusher Smith
              Tony Tucker

Mercer, Chagaev (even if he beats Haye before a Klit can), and Byrd all fall in this category and could be argued up and down with all these men who, in reality, were nothing more than contenders to the REAL champions of their time. Rahman goes down mostly as a one hit wonder but did win the title; the rest of his career will cost him.

That's not bias...that's just what to date has been the reality of the situation. Your declaration that they "WILL" get in is a stretch to say the least. They have to first hope they "MIGHT" even get put to vote.

I can agree with you otherwise; the what HOFer argument for Wlad is slightly moronic unless its about weighing him against another Heavyweight who had a slew. Wlad can be a great Heavyweight without necessarily beating one.

if prince naseem hamed didn't get into the hall, you can be certain those guys won't.

i may could see mercer getting in - but i really really doubt it.

Good points, fair play. You might be right about Rahman and Mercer and certainly Chagaev. But I believe Byrd is getting in without a problem.

Dude, here's who is still on the ballot (names don't get removed) with more names to come every year. Byrd is going to STRUGGLE to be a top three vote any year against stuff like this and with waves of guys like Morales, Holy, etc. all likely eligible around the same five year span as he.

Byrd will have a HUGE problem. He won a belt; that's cool. He's about as likely to get in as Jimmy Young though, a better story than candidate.

He won the belt twice, beating Holyfield and Vitaly, Lewis dropped his belt in the trash so he wouldn't have to face him. He was very slick. And the link you posted is not evidence of anything, it's a list of recent nominees, Byrd just retired in 2009, the list of return nominees has guys from the 1950s in it and the most recent guy, Ottke, had retired in 2004. So that mean Byrd has ages to be on the list. If anything, you should reserve your judgment until 5 years have passed.
