Bookmark this thread so when he fights Cotto or Chavez Jr next, I can laugh at you all trying to rationalize it. LOL @ the clowns in here asking him to fight Williams or Martinez next when he never looked their way for this fight.

P-Will @ 147 that should be next I like that option more than any other on that list. If he looks like he can handle 150 without missing a beat than P-Will at 154.

I would love to see him fight Bradley but I would rather have it at 140.

Or fight back with your pockets. Pac is fast running out of Top Rank opponents - if he didn't take the bait for a Williams bout now, you can forget it later.

Pacquiao's track record shows that he constantly fights the top fighters at every division he has been at. You obviously don't know how boxing works because it's a process when moving up.

His team wasn't sure he could handle a big WW in Cotto so they ask for a catchweight. Then when Manny passed that with flying colors, then went against a huge WW in Clottey.

With Margarito, Manny is really pushing it, even with the catchweight (as far as size difference come fight night). Again If Pacquiao passes this with flying colors (something I think he will) then I can defiantly see him facing another guy like Martinez or Angulo at 154.

This is only if he looks sensational....ala Cotto fight, and shows the same speed and power he had against DLH, Hatton, Cotto, and Clottey. I mean if he TKO's a 164-166 Margarito in 7 rounds and makes it look real easy....then I don't see why a fight with Angulo or Martinez, who are the same size, wouldn't be possible.

This isn't a video game in which Pacquiao fights 5-6 times everyone around his weight class. Margarito fight made the most sense so quite flaming. What reason would there be to face Williams in November? Now I would like to see this fight, but right now Manny would have nothing to gain from this.

I say this because if that ppv does 700K buys (all off of Manny's name) you will be the first poster flaming saying Manny should accept a 30-40 split for his fight with Floyd.

No one asked him to go to 154...err, 150. Williams at 147 would be wonderful. So would Bradley at 140/147. Martinez will never happen. What point is there when he doesn't have a belt? .

Like I said, Cotto or Chavez Jr will be next. Bookmark this thread.

This is the dumbest thing I've heard. So you think a Margarito fight made more sense than a Williams bout. Ok, I'll play your ****** little game. Other than the fact that work for the same pimp, what's your basis?

Well I agree Williams at 147 would be great. Also if he looks like a monster against Margarito, then I can defiantly see Martinez happening. Him not having a belt will be a moot point as Manny would have achieved that goal already and facing Sergio is a no lose situation for Manny.

I know you are just trying to be funny, but realistically Pacquiao doesn't want to face Cotto as I'm sure he sees it as a waste of time.

I do think Chavez will be a legit opponent, but I see Arum building that fight up as it could do good numbers if Chavez gets some good wins under his belt (Cotto etc).
