What is the point of your post then? That every fight that Manny takes should be for a new lineal title? They are a bit hard to come by in case you were unaware.

I think my points were pretty obvious. Jro seemed to comprehend but not everyone has an above average IQ. Carry on.

I agree with the TS that Pacquiao is overrated to some extent. Sadly, I don't think you all really know what "overrated" means which is why it's hard to have this discussion. Overrated doesn't = no good. Overrated simply means rated higher than should be. When you have people going around saying that Pacquiao is rated higher than RJJ on the alltime P4P list, then it's kind of hard to say that he's not being overrated by some.

For the record, the term era is basically defined as a period of time marked by specific events or characteristics. The current era that we're in is nowhere near close to 30 years old. I would say that this is the era of the non-heavyweight where the most popular fighters are non-heavyweights. This era started less than 15 years ago. Is Pacquiao one of the most overrated fighters of the last 10-15 years? I'd say yes you could make that case.
Sorry i disagree with everything you said here.

can you name another boxer whose stock went up that much in just over 2 years?
Hey dumbass... Pac was already top 2 P4P when Pac's beating the likes of MAB, EM and JMM. He might struggled with JMM but JMM's a Future HOfamer too. Didnt SRL struggled with Duran and Hagler too?? then we have PBF getting a gift from the 1st castillo fight.

Pac fight all the best no matter what their style is. Unlike Floyd who ducks fighters who has the chance to beat him.

Overhyped? Yes. Overrated? NO. He has proven himself to be a nightmare to reckoned with. He truly deserved the Fighter of the decade award. It's not easy to move up to different weight divisions and still be an elite fighter in those divisions.

in this world of abc belts, gaining his 5th, or 8th, in whoever's mind, doesnt belittle what he has accomplished in beating other hall of famers in the process. Pacquiao is a proven atg, and in similar way, even Mayweather. The one who is overhyped and overrated, is the late Edwin Valero.

Valero is going to end up being a fantasy fight nightmare in three to five years. People are going to have him knocking out prime Pac, knocking out prime Floyd, knocking out everyone at 135 and 140 at that time, it's going to be horrible.
