Ortiz has much better overall boxing skills.

I can't believe people are giving Maidana so much slack around here. If anybody else had faked a back injury to get out of a fight they would be trashed but if Maidana did it, than it's fine.

Ortiz can punch like ****, he dropped Maidana three times.

MANY fighters have decided to sit out the count bro, and some of them were former/current/future Champions.

And Ortiz has much better skills than Maidana.

Khan/Ortiz could be a real good fight, most likely better than Maidana/Khan imo.

The outcome of that fight will depend on the lessons that both fighters have learned over the last two years.

They are both young and unproven.

Put it this way.....

You question Ortiz's heart, but forget that he has already made the decision that he wishes to try to walk through adversity again, if that's what it takes to be the best.

Will Amir make that same decision if he is dropped by Ortiz ?

Will he get up, to go down to the well..... one more time ?

Don't get me wrong, I am not criticizing Amir.... because I think that he would get up to fight, if he could..... I am just pointing out that of the three..... Maidana is the only fighter who has proven that he will walk through fire to get to hell, but he has limited options when he get's there.

Also, why do people keep saying Khan has a glass chin? He got caught cold by Prescott with a haymaker that would've put the majority of boxers on their ass. He's never been in trouble since, got with Freddy Roach and improved his defence and his jab. So why the glass chin jibes?

Have you not seen Khan in the amateurs? He was always getting shooken up and thats with head-gear on! Also, if you watched his professional fights you would know that fighters who were light punchers had him hurt and knocked down at times. He's got a glass chin.

I'd take either fight, but Madiana gets overated here, i'd actually rather see Ortiz fight a rematch with Maidana than see one of them get dominated by Khan. People forget Maidana did a lot wrong in that fight and was knocked down too, i reckon Ortiz would win a rematch.

I believe that there could be some truth to the comment made by Roach stating that Khan was drained at 135.

Hes tall Amir, I would be amazed if he fought under lightweight since turning pro. Was his Olympic medal at lightweight? I can't remember?

If he was drained, then it definitely could have affected his punch resistance.

We just wanna see, and Paulie didn't quite help us in that regard

alot of people say that Maidana took something out of Ortiz which i don't disagree,but what most people don't see is that Ortiz took something away from Maidana aswell.Maidana no longer will get into a brawl like he did with Ortiz.in a way,he's scared of that kind of fight.the way to beat Maidana is to go toe to toe with him and back him up.I doubt Con can do that since he has as much power as Pauli does.Con has speed,Maidana has power but Ortiz has both.I think Con will get ko'd by Ortiz but might out box Maidana.mark my word if Maidana passes ,and Ortiz takes this fight,Ortiz wins by KO and Maidana will not fight Ortiz in the rematch.just my opinion.
