Both knew that they were going to fight eachother in the 3rd round.

Plus business is business and if you have a binding contract, you cant get out of it just because the other guy is a friend. If your boss tells you to fire your friend or otherwise you will be fired, you fire you friend

I think the tables have turned big time for Ward and Dirrell. They are the big names now. Before it all started everybody was talking about the European fighters.

That doesn't mean they can not fight after they signed contracts though
