i like how Showtime told them to put their friendship aside and honor the S-6 contract they signed

best friends have fought before...Simon Brown and Maurice Blocker come to mind
      This is right

Both knew that they were going to fight eachother in the 3rd round.

Plus business is business and if you have a binding contract, you cant get out of it just because the other guy is a friend. If your boss tells you to fire your friend or otherwise you will be fired, you fire you friend

That doesn't mean they can not fight after they signed contracts though

            What does that mean exactly?..

They should just lay down for him?

              Good job.

Not a peep of complaint from Shaw in that article so Dirrell must be in good shape for a fight.

I don't care if neither are fully ready, this fight was supposed to happen now. They should be both in training just in case.

              Let's do this.

You guys who are trying to make excuses make me sick. Thses clowns knew what they were signing up for. They knew all the fights before they signed. This is some weezle ****. This is the payback to Showtime for actually stepping up and attempting this. Showtime was actually trying to do some legit **** and they're getting **** on by the fighters and even by the fans. Everyone cry's all the time about the politics of boxing. Showtime was trying to change that and you guys act like spoiled b****.

                  Yeah I know.

Ward has too more than anyone else at risk than anyone in this tournament. His zero.

Perhaps Ward isn't confident to fight outside of his hometown let alone against someone like Dirrell.

Why is the venue even being disputed? Whoever wins is sure to get knocked the **** out by AA in the Final anyway.

                      KING ARTHUR ABRAHAM FTW!
