you make it seem like just because there is still the re-hydration rule that a CATCH WEIGHT TITLE FIGHT is okay, you're a bull**** fanatic man you're not even rational..

how is that okay because they can rehydrate when the rules of Boxing, rules that Manny is tampering with that have been set in place for MANY years say that a world title fight can ONLY take place under the regulated weight for the title you're fighting for, this guys is fighting for the VACANT belt at 154 in a fight where the limit is 149 and you're defending him? stop being so damn **** crazy, be an individual son don't just eat what they throw at you and conceive your own thoughts

I don't care if you name me 20 people who asked for catch weights and got it that still doesn't make it right, that still doesn't make it respectable, that still doesn't mean they should have done it, that still doesn't mean they took on the FULL risk of fighting a fighter in that weight they just pulled the strings to achieve the accolade without dealing with such a hard struggle and that is simply non-admirable nor respectable and very much against the established rules

if you can't make the FULL weight of fighting in a weight class stay the **** out of it don't try to slime your way into a fixed position to sneak the achievement under your belt KNOWING you didn't go up against a full fledged fighter in that weight

the ONLY reason why they even letting this fight happen is because his name is Manny Pacquiao not because it's right or wrong or not because anyone actually wanted to see this but ONLY because his name is Manny Pacquiao. same with Leonard and De La Hoya, these were guys who pulled strings and broke protocol all because of their names and celebrity status.

is it a coincidence that you had to use 3 of Boxing's names EVER to try and make a point? NO. they did it for them and now they doing it for Manny and I don't respect that horse ****, I like Manny but I'm not a yes man to everything he does like you are and neither for Floyd because I'd be the first to tell you I think Floyd should be fighting too

I think Floyd Mayweather should be fighting regularly even if it's a tune up or a fight against a tough contender like Judah VS Mathysse but not just wait out this case and risk his skills and ability diminishing from 1 fight to another, I would even take a free "Friday Night Fights Appreciation" fight against a guy with no chance with the proceeds going to charity I wouldn't even care if it was like that as long as he laced up the gloves at least 1 more time this year. I formulate my own thoughts and I don't make use less threads full of bull **** in NSB like you do

what rule is pac tampering with? no rules are being broken. catchweight fights have been around since 1904. You act as if catchweight fights just started with pac:

& catchweight fights were made to prevent cancellations in title fights not because of medical malfeasance with medical studies backing it.

Ray leonard also had 2 catchweight fights for titles vs lalonde & vs hearns 2. terry norris vs meldrick taylor had a catchweight fight for a title. There is no precedent being set here.

You, the *****s, & cliff rold (my favorite boxing writer on the bscene) needs to stop acting pretentious & acting like physicians & catchweight medical researchers.

    • How is it that people can't comprahend that the 24 rehydration period means that even at a catchweight the bigger fighter stilll has the opertunity to have a massive weight advantage come fight night?

Do people seriously think that Tony is gonna weigh 150 pounds on fight night? No!!!

How people cant comprahend this is beyond me!

        • Form Fail...lmao

Pac came up from 135 to 148 in 6 months to face Oscar. Had there not been a rehydration rule, Oscar vs Pac wouldnt of never happened.

Ask yourself this...How does a man go from 135 to 148 in 6 months? Marquez came from 135 to 144 and was bloated against Floyd. Pac gained damn near 15lbs of muscle in half a year? Its hard to gain 15lbs of muscle PERIOD let along a sport of boxing. Where you're running , jump rope, and fighting for 12 rounds of sparing. Thats a lot of weight with that much exercise.

          Do you believe its natural?

post fail. pac has been weighing 144 fight night since his SFW days 4years ago. so it wasn't 6mos as you ignorantly stated.

            • It doesn't matter how you break it down, when a fighter coming up in weight is making another fighter come down in weight, it so he has more of an advantage. Sure it happens all the time, and it acceptable in most cases, but to fight for a vacant title at a catchweight against a fighter who hasn't earned a title shot at that weight is absolute bull****t.

which raises the question how can fighter rehydrate 14 pounds overnight.
