It was Cotto who ruined Margarito not MOSLEY.

I just rewatched that fight and man oh man did Cotto land some SERIOUS flush bombs.

I thought they were just arm punches but Margs head was flying all over the place. No normal man can take that may hard bombs and be the same afterwards. He was unleashing 4-5 power combos over and over.

I decided to watch the fight and only focus on what Cotto did. He ruined Margarito.

Margarito won the fight but he lost the war.

Please...Cotto just gave Margarito extra battle scars, that's it. Margarito on the other hand did ruin Cotto, an undefeated fighter who had created this false mirage of being unstoppable. Besides beating the hell out of him he destroyed his confidence.

Mosley didn't ruined Margarito, it was a combination of him having the perfect fight plan, Margarito's weight issues during camp plus all that BS behind scenes about the wraps minutes before such a big fight. His mind was never in the fight and neither was his body.

After the Cotto victory Margo was supposed to fight in November. They couldn't do a fight at that time cause Margo still had not recovered from their late June fight. Both fighters did take a lot of damage in that fight. Mosley fought the smarter fight, all started going downhill for Margo when Mosley landed a monster right hand to the body in the 2nd round

Even Shane Mosley couldn't make Margarito's face swell up like Cotto did. Cotto may have ruined Margarito a bit, because look where they are at in their careers now. Margarito looked like **** in his last 2 fights, while Cotto still looks like he can still fight at the top level.

Those might be smoke screens Cotto look the same in his fight with Marga's as he did in his fight with Pac...Cotto look really bad in the Pac and Clottey fight dude..I'll admit he showed Balls in the Clottey fight but the Pac fight Pac did not even want to him him anymore(and Cotto did not want to be hit)marga's was still coming forward against Mosley but Mosley will always beat a fight like Marga's and Cotto will always lose to a fighter like Marga's..Styles make fights my friend and Marga's style is just bad for Cotto which is why you won't see Cotto vs Angulo...

Cotto doesn't get the credit he deserves for beating Yuri, though Cotto's never really had any problems against slick fighters like Yuri who need movement to try to win fights. I think some of the credit Cotto doesn't get is because A) people say yuri's a bum when he's not, or B) Only because Yuri pulled his leg during the fight. I mean even before Yuri pulled his leg, Cotto was winning the fight quite clearly. But then again Yuri's style was a bit tailor made for Cotto. It was like fighting a Quintana type, type of fighters that make Cotto look really good.

Dude if Margarito gets 100 percent credit for beating Cotto then Molsey gets 100 percent credit for beating Marg. Don't try to cheapen Mosley's win with that BS about Marg's weight and Mosley's gameplan. Mosley is just a bad style match for Marg the same way Marg is a bad style match for Cotto. Mosley has all the tools to beat a guy like Marg. He's got fast hard hands and he's great at clinching. Easy win and he beats Marg 10/10 times. For Christ's sake, Mosley was 37 years old and Margarito was in his prime and a big favorite to win. Marg beat Cotto's ass and Shane beat Marg's ass. No excuses.

Cotto's win over Yuri reminded me of Con's win over Salita..Yuri is a little better and tougher then Salita,but he was there to be beat brother.You won't really know about Cotto till he fights a real animal at Jr MW IMO..

he took a lot of beating against Cottto. he won the war but had a beating of his life. against Mosley i believed he was out of focus because he knew what was coming when he got caught cheating. he was more focus against Cotto.

a boxer can fight even though he was ruined. its what you call giving someone another chance. Manny was ruined twice with a body shot more than 10 yrs ago. had a chance to redeem himself.
