As for the rest of your overly bitchy post, who cares if we don't box for a living, that doesn't change the market value of any given fighter.

The fact remains, Bradley fights in front of crowds the size of a H.S gym in the desert and Devloss, lost to Kotelnik clearly in his own home town.

1.1 million is something they should split, not get individually. They're not worth it.

      Period.
and you honestly feel that what you think matters? lol if HBO wants to make this fight they will do what ever they can to make this fight happen, regardless how you feel about it or anybody feel about it or how they looked in their Previous fights it is still a Big Fight, boxing is more then just 1 fighter bring a draw in the fight, bigger matches is worth more then just 1 OVERRATED and OVER PAYED Fighter

oh yeah and by the way to other posters who are posting about A Mere Con is this and that...what country do you guys live in, Khan is not a Draw in the US yet, if he is fighting in the UK then yes he deserves more money because he is the bigger draw...IN THE UK but not in the US, Paulie being from NY is what sold seats for their fight, Con is getting too much credit for that fight as far as selling seats or what not

Of course it matters. I'm an Hbo subscriber and if they continue to put on **** fights, I'll not only cancel my subscription but I'll write them a strongly worded letter as to why.

They won't like that and more importantly they'll change their behavior and business practices.

Hopefully, he gets a good payday to make up for his manager doing him dirty. Great matchups should be paid accordingly.

That being said there is no way these guys are worth that much or are going to bring in 1.2 million viewers, I'd be shocked if they did.

This the my source for the ratings by the way.
Forgot about Cotto-Foreman outdoing it, I'm gonna update my mental rolodex for that, lol...

If it's like that though, Alexander got around 1.1M viewers against an unknown Kotelnik, so he does deserve it and more if it's that close. They won't be getting that much more, if at all though.

agreed, i say this all the time , a lot these guys never go to the gym and actually participate so they dont know what it takes.

If I was either fighter I would'nt take this fight for no damn 1 million dollars, right now this is the biggest fight that can be made other than the super fight, I hope they both know their value.

1 million dollars is a joke for this fight

If the offer is really 1.1 Million each, they should really take it. That is definately NOT chump change and they arent likely to get that much against anyone else.

If you guys think this is the biggest fight that can be made you are all smoking crack or flat out ******ed. Cotto/Marg II will squash this mother f.ucker and rival Pac/Cotto Mayweather/Mosley in terms of buys. Pac/Floyd/Cotto vs anyone will generate far more money and buys than this fight. I would say those are the top three earners in boxing right now, so that may be a bit unfair. However, this fight isn't really that big to me I don't see why it is anyway. Martinez/Williams II is the bigger fight if we want to talk about fighters on even terms. Khan vs Maidana will do more numbers than this fight, this "might" be a good fight but it isn't going to generate a lot of numbers. I'm not sure who markets Bradley but they did an awful job, at least Alexander was able to plant 10k people in the seats and really he should get the bigger percentage I feel. It should be 750k to 500k max, they might have the talent (debatable) but they sure as hell don't have the marketability to ask for over 1 million a piece.

Bradley and Alexander will be unifying 3 belts. It's not right that Khan should get paid more for fighting feather-fisted Malignaggi.
