Alexander's performance against Kotelnik has kinda ruined the hype of this fight. Many people felt that Kotelnik won.
Alexander got $500,000 for the Kotelnik fight. I don't know how much Bradley got against Abregu but I am guessing less than $500,000.Comment

the reason khan got such a big payday is because hes part of manny pacquiaos and freddie roach's entourage
bradley and alexander have no names for their trainersComment

2.2 million is more than fair for these guys to face each other. If HBO gave 2.75 million for Cotto/Foreman these guys are getting a gift from HBO. Stop b.itching and fight each other, neither guy isn't going to do anything all that great. Bradley looked like garbage at 147 and Alexander lost his last fight, these guys better stop asking for more or they won't make any money at all in the future.Comment

Khan probably wants a 90-10 split or something ridiculous like that, so of course Maidana's not gonna take that.yeah because the B*TCH they paid 1.1 Million to fight a Soft Punching fighter doesn't have the balls to get into the ring with any of the Top fighters in his Division, by the way isn't the guy in your Photo asking for more money as well for his fight with Khan...EXACTLY!
**** what you guys are saying, you guys are not boxers for a living and you are not taking punches to the head for a living, these guys have every ****in right to try and get the most money they can for what they do, these guys could do like Khan and avoid all the top fighters in their division but they are willing and WANT to fight each other which seems to be a rare thing is boxing today so yes they should be reward for that
As for the rest of your overly bitchy post, who cares if we don't box for a living, that doesn't change the market value of any given fighter.
The fact remains, Bradley fights in front of crowds the size of a H.S gym in the desert and Devloss, lost to Kotelnik clearly in his own home town.
1.1 million is something they should split, not get individually. They're not worth it.
Period.Comment

Bottom line, neither guy is WORTH 1 million dollars a fight.
They might think so, but a lot of people also think their homes are worth today what they were worth in 2005.
Sorry, thats called a fictional bubble.Comment

that 10% would probably be tens more the Maidanna has earnt his whole boxing career...Khan probably wants a 90-10 split or something ridiculous like that, so of course Maidana's not gonna take that.

$1.1M is double there current career high paydays!
Do they deserve more than Khan? For the level of oppostion they're facing, yes. For their popularity, no. Khan got HBO their highest rating of 2010 facing Malignaggi.
It's OK to want to get paid like Khan, but not to foolishly and stubbornly reject fights because of it. HBO needs to start blackballing if they don't get the fights they want.
'So you don't want to fight Alexander (or Bradley) for $1.1M? OK then, go fight Kaizer Mabuza on Showtime for less than half of that. When you're ready to accept the offer call us, until then **** off.'
That said, the promoters are slick pieces of ****, they go alone to HBO, so only they know the offer. HBO gave GBP $750K to make Ortiz-Campbell and GBP got the fighters to accept and made the fight for less than $250K, so they got to keep $500K..... $500K!!!!!! That's a huge disparity. And I heard boxing writers saying that this **** is standard practice because it's legal if they keep it for themselves. You can't trust nobody in this ****. The greatest sport in the world suffers greatly because of greed.Comment
