I never said they didn't hit harder. My point was that none of the fighters that Cotto faced were feared punchers like Corrales was when Mayweather faced him. Mosley probably was when he was at lightweight, but not at WW. Cotto and Mosley fought at welterweight.

Margarito?? Hmm, I'm sure the argument could be made, that Corrales hit harder at 130 than Margarito punches now!! Margarito is not a strong puncher, his strenths are his relentless pressure, iron chin, stamina and the high number of punches he throws. If he hit so hard, he wouldn't need to throw so many punches to win fights.
