Pacquiao is a top 10 ATG.

Most people dont include him because there busy nuthugging white fighters who fought in an era full of bums. Pacquiao fought in an era of latinos and blacks he deserves all his props.

How many of those great "blacks" did Pacquiao defeat?

              1. He's won real belts in 5 divisions and beat the best in every division. All of his title wins came against the champion. He didnt fight at made up weight classes for vacant belts and he didnt demand catchweights either. He just beat the best in every division he ever fought in. Pacquiao on the other hand won WBC International belts and IBO Belts. Along with belts won in catchweight bouts against people coming off KO losses.

Pacquiao's resume is extremely overrated when you look at the amount of damaged opponents he has beaten. Check all of Floyd's title fights since 1998 and you'll find maybe 2 or 3 people who had lost one of their last 6 fights prior to him fighting them. The majority of Pacquiao's big wins came against people coming off KO losses. Look it up on Boxrec. People lie but number's dont. It's clear who is the real cherrypicker of the two.

              2. Floyd has dominated everyone he has fought. He beat Castillo with a torn rotator cuff and then beat him again in the rematch. He fought alot of top fighters at the peak of their career like Genaro Hernandez, Diego Corrales, Jesus Chavez, Jose Luis Castillo, Arturo Gatti, Zab Judah, Oscar De La Hoya, Juan Manuel Marquez and Shane Mosley. All of them were in the prime of their career's and he dominated all of them.

How can Pacquiao be ranked higher when he's fought worse opposition and lost three times? That just doesnt make any sense at all. Your going to say Pacquiao has fought better opposition but that's just not true. If you look on boxrec you will see that Pacquiao has beaten 13 world champions and Floyd has beaten 15. So that argument is just false.

Anyway i'm sick of debating with all these ignorant Pacquiao trolls like yourself who can't see simple logic. I see no reason to continue to try and educate people who are too dumb to understand. And there are alot of people like this on NSB so i'm done with that part of the forum. I come on here to read about boxing and that's the way it should be. Threads like this are just further evidence that NSB is full of idiots who don't know what they are talking about.
What age are you boy, it's obvious you just learned your boxing by browsing through Boxrec. Boxing is not a numbers game boy, watch the fights, as an example Ali was not the perfect fighter either. Ali for a GOAT has several losses in his resume, he gets hit way too much and if not for his great chin has a standard level defense. Then why did most of the experts consider him as the GOAT, because he has a heart and balls of a champion, often fights the fight he clearly was in a disadvantage. When ali challenged the undefeated foreman for a fight, many experts at that time considered the fight as a suicide fight for ali and that foreman will just KO him in 2 rounds, well ali won it.. Being a GOAT is more about quality of opposition and quality of the fight itself... When manny fought barrera the first time, marco was the lineal featherweight champ at that time, the top dog..

Okay maybe I should not have put the "no matter what he does in the future" line in my post, because if were to face Martinez for the middleweight strap and annihilate him like he did Cotto*, then it's obvious you got to re-access where you have him ranked on the ATG list.

*not saying he would, rather "what if he was able to do that to Martinez".
