I doubt we'll see anything this year...
It may be the same case...like Dawson...once he's gets in the ring with a live opponent, he'll get embarressed when theortically, he shouldn't.

His promoters and father think they are nurturing his career by protecting that big 0.

Who is there for him to fight. He can't get PAC nor Floyd. Who should he fight.

I personally think he should fight mike jones.

Berto is not a very good fighter, but he is an excellent athlete if that counts for anything.

Have any of you folks ever met him?

Berto is only about 5'5 max, I'm sure that is part of it now that he has some big hitters to face with reach.

In the past Berto has fought boxers from the super lightweight division, such as Urango and Forbes. It's definitely become a pattern with Andre.
There is simply a time in your career where you have to step up - Mosley fight was the right direction - it never happened and since it's been a dissapointment...

I tell you Berto is good - he has a questionable chin but he has heart - he fought through adversity - if Mosley wins against Mora I think they will revisit this fight - it's the best for both - and then Berto has to show what he is made off...

It's sad that the guys around him doesn't have trust in him because he isn't such a big draw that he can continue to fight nobodies or opponents below his weight class - if he can make 140 then go to 140 - good fighters are there

Non of the above. He`s playing it safe until an opportunity of a big money fight comes along or a fight that can potentially make him more popular to make more money.
