Why does Andre Berto seek opponents from a smaller weight division?

Berto is finding it tough to get fights... He is not choosing to fight smaller guys. That is a pathetic outlook. None of the big names want to fight him, and he's be relegated to either fighting a Collazo rematch, a Cintron, maybe the champs at 140 and that's about it.

how many opponents does he need at a time?.....thats more than enough to prevent him from fighting bums.......

So once again on Saturday, Berto will be fighting someone from a smaller weight division: Victor Ortiz.

Since he's fought so many little guys like Forbes, why not JUST ONCE can't Berto fight someone a bit bigger than himself, like Paul Williams?

I know a CONSIDERABLE amount of people on here will disagree with what I say next.


But I think Berto would beat aging Mosley, Cotto, Clottey, and Collazo again.

His promoters, IMO, certainly must not think so.

I was pretty surprised when they made the Mosley fight actually, but it never happened anyway.

Who told you Cotto and Mosley want to fight Berto?

Nobody wants to see clottey ever again.
