Andre Berto fighting guys from super lightweight isn't doing his popularity any good.

It's not helping the HBO ratings either.

IMO even if Berto loses against Mosley but puts in a good showing of himself, it doesn't really hurt his stock. I think fans would respect him more even if he did lose.

But I think Berto would beat aging Mosley, Cotto, Clottey, and Collazo again.

His promoters, IMO, certainly must not think so.

I was pretty surprised when they made the Mosley fight actually, but it never happened anyway.
those are all 50/50 to me. I respect u man but i have to disagree with u here. Especially against cotto, Berto would get sonned.

Before July 2008 I would take Cotto... but not now... I just don't see the same Cotto I used to see.

It's a close fight either way.

I honestly blame Lou and Haymon more than Berto himself.

But, Berto has to take control of his own career as well.

They are all at fault, and I'm one of the biggest Berto fans on the site.

                  BTW.

Just another instance where my fighter analysis is dead on.

                  I exposed Mayweather.

                  I exposed Dawson.

                  I exposed Berto.

                  All a long time ago.

And now what I've been saying ALL ALONG, is being recognized by all.

Never doubt anything I say. Cuz' frankly, I know more than most of you and I'm smarter than ALL OF YOU.

Why not another welterweight like Brooks, Clottey or perhaps Zaveck or Senchenko? Why in the name of heaven is he ducking his mandatory, Selsuk Aydin, who really isn't very good?

In the past Berto has fought boxers from the super lightweight division, such as Urango and Forbes. It's definitely become a pattern with Andre.
He's moving down cuz NOBODY @ 147 wants to fight him. So being that 140 is stocked with talent he figures he'll finally get a fight, put on an exciting show and keep the ball rolling. Think about it, P.Williams wanted to go to 147 only for May,Pac,or Mosley, None of them want Berto either. He wants Cotto @ any weight, no response fom them, Clottey can use a fight right about now but he probably made more money in his last 2 fights than his whole career combined so he's chillin, so who's left?
