Ready or willing as long as he gets the same money as Marquez or Juanma. What world is this guy living in? Listen to your manager bro!! If you want to be big time accept less money and beat the best on prime time t.v. and then start getting the big time checks. You have no fan base Cab (and no the 100 people on boxingscene aren't enough). You can't even fill out the Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, Fl. You can't even headline yet. Why even mention money right off the bat?!?! Like HBO or anybody else si going to approve the same budget with Cab in the fight.

This guy better be smarter in the ring than he is in the business world - and make no mistake boxing is a business - or he's going to prove me right when he gets defeated by the first quality opponent he faces be it Juanma, Gamboa or John.

Known champ? Right. He really packs them in his fights. That's why he had to go to Panama and get paid by the govt. (and almost lose to the S. African) when he couldnt sell any tickets for the fight he was headlining.

Some people think Boxingscene is the real world. This is for hardcore fans, Peluchin is barely known outside these circles. Get a grip.

Don't get me wrong. I want this fight. But aside from Arum (the biggest obstacle to this happening b/c he has his own long term plans), contrary to what some people claim Caballero is not making it any easier for this fight to come to fruition.

Newsflash Rican nuthuggers. If Lopez ducks this fight he has to sit out for the rest of the year likely. Caballero has a date on HBO with that triple header. So maybe Lopez should've taken this fight when he had more leverage to stand on. Ever think about that?

And if I asked a 1000 people who Juanma is outside of boxing they wouldnt know either.

What nonsense are you babling about? Showtime was paying Juanma his biggest pursue by far. So what leverage do Caballero have again??

i disagree with the fact that a boxer needs to be marketed in order to become a draw. that is what is wrong with the sport today. the heavily marketed fighters are fighting what amounts to exhibitions where the outcome is known at the time they sign the contracts. that model may be good for the individual fighter, but it is bad for the sport. those of us that love the sport will watch damn near anything,, but if they want to get the "casual" fan, imo they need to put on more competitive fights. the casual fan wants to get his money's worthand set upfights turn them away rather than bring them in.
You make alot of sense again but like I said previousley that's in a perfect world not dominated by promoters who try to make the most money out of their fighters in the short and long run. don't get me wrong i woud love to see that fight because I still have lots of concerns with Juanma, although I'm PuertoRican and i will be rooting always for him, he is yet to convince me that he is as big as his hype.

Yeah but still the PuertoRican fanbase is way much bigger I would say 80-20 and Caballero still needs to come down on his demands if he really wants it.
