Casual fans of boxing would. How many times has Juanma been on HBO or Showtime. How many has Cab. Be real...
Sorry you don't understand the concept of hardcore boxing fans and casual boxing fans.Comment

Not really. And here's the difference. The supposed HBO triple-header is not a done deal at all. Juanma can get a fight and still be on t.v., it just wouldnt be on PPV. Rojas can fight before the year is over. Look how often Cab fights.Comment

We are talking about Cabs demands bro!! He keeps thinking he has leverage when he has absolutely none if to demand Juanma or Marquez type money. Take less, much less if you have to, and fight. But right from the get go he goes for broke. Guy is not too bright at all.Comment

Exactly....Bragging about being on HBO, not even as the main event in comparison or leverage for what Caballero has vs Juanma who has had many main event already on both HBO and Showtime is not seeing it right. Once again if it was so big Cab being on the tripleheader on HBO why want to come out of it to face JuanMa??? He's not ****** a victory over Juanma will raise is value because of Juanma's popularity in the sport. For those same reason he need to lower his demands.
When you learn about risk/reward factor than you can talk about money splits and how it hold or not weight. By fighting Mtwaga, Juanma will obviously have close to a 70/30 advantage and that 65 will pretty well represent a 50/50 split with Caballero. Although there's alwasy a risk for surprises which almost happen with Mtwaga, Caballero will continue to be a high risk no reward fighter and while his demand$$ stay as high as he has them it will very difficult for him to land a big fight. You can talk all about P4P if you want to, but he is not making the money nor brings the money to the table that Juanma, Gamboa or Marquez do. And quit mentioning the HBO date, he is only there to fill the tripleheader in other word the undercard. HE IS NOT THE MAIN EVENT.Comment

Tito most of his career had advantage on the purse, but he did accept less than DLH because at that moement DLH was a bigger draw.
Cotto also has been on the biggest side of the purse with exception of the Pacquiao fight for obvious reasons on who was the draw.
To answer your question, Yes Tito and Cotto would had fought Caballero already but not on the conditions Caballero is demanding.
They would be doing the same thing Juanma is. Telling Caballero to get the **** out of here with those demands.Last edited by prsi; 08-19-2010, 09:50 PM.Comment

JuanMa is pulling a Hatton-Witter kind of thing. JuanMa seems to shiver when CC's name is mentioned. Give the fans what they want JuanMa. We don't want to see Raf-Lopez. We want you to fight someone who will hit you back, and this is a fight you can win. Fight CC...the fans want it!Comment
