I think that's not the correct syllogism. Look back and see how long ago caba has been itching to fight juanma, he has insulted him, his family and the whole rican nation and all we get from juanma is excuses. Don't get me wrong cause I'm a juanma fan but this caballero episode of his boxing career is something he has to fix because it's a big ducking chapter of his career that he has to erase for boxing fans not to doubt him.Comment

You asked a Hypothetically question about Cotto and Tito and when I answered you with facts of both it's just excuses???
I guess that you were not ready for the answer, or you just asked a question that the response made you look bad.
The perfect example that I can relate to Caballero is Hopkins. Hopkins has always been a good fighter with lots of accomplishments but it was not until his 30's that he reach big paydays and popularity and he did it by facing for a lot less money the most recognized fighter in those divisions which was Tito.
This is not comparing the popularity of Tito to Juanma, just giving an example of what good fighters sometime have to do to become great or at least acheive better paydays. Once again, Caballero still has time but is not getting younger to keep pricing himself out of fights. The same way I don't compare Juanma to Tito, Caballero is no Hopkins, and his clock coninues to click faster.Last edited by prsi; 08-19-2010, 10:30 PM.Comment

You know boxing as I have seen some of your post previously, so keep in mind that no prospect is thrown to a dangerous veteran early in his career and much less if that prospect still has not proved himself and at time has shown that he still has ways to go. It doesn't matter what Caba does or says, in boxing now a days there are millions involved and millions to come. The only way that a promoter will throw this "great Prospect" against this high risk low reward fighter, is if he can make money, which he will not with Caballero demanding 50/50.I think that's not the correct syllogism. Look back and see how long ago caba has been itching to fight juanma, he has insulted him, his family and the whole rican nation and all we get from juanma is excuses. Don't get me wrong cause I'm a juanma fan but this caballero episode of his boxing career is something he has to fix because it's a big ducking chapter of his career that he has to erase for boxing fans not to doubt him.
Arum might have already a low risk fighter in sight for Juanma to keep the big payday with Marguez-Juanma at the begining of the 2011 and with probably the winner of that fight, with Gamboa in the Summer. That will make people forget the doubts that they might have now. Why risk all that with Caba for no rewards, unless Caba comes down on his demands and if he wins then he can get in that ecuation of paydays with Marquez/Gamboa. That's how Caba need to look at this.
I would love to see that fight Caba/Juanma but i realize that Caba needs to coem down on his demand$$$$ to make it happen.Comment
