And YES,... it does matter. Figting a stiff board like Pavlik requires completely different training and sparring partners then fighting a MOBILE, SLICK, SOUTHPAW.

    Common sense **** here.

And what bet? Your 2.4 million? Doesn't matter to me.
Cuz' Goosen owns him thats why. Did he fight a WW? No, but he wanted to and tried to get a fight with 2 of them.

The intent was there and proves he'd rather go back to a division where he holds significant advantages in every area over his opponents.

And like I said, fighters bring all kinds of styles, not just one.

Oh and you already got owned by El Catrin.

I think Williams realized he wont be getting any other paycheck, if he had any other route to go other than Martinez, I bet he would take it. I cant wait until this fight is signed, then I wont be able to wait until the fight.

I don't care what his intent was.

He didn't fight there.. period, end of.

Pavlik brings ONE style.. not "all kinds"

Completely different camp from one to the other.

          And uh... no... he didn't.

            yeah the truth is hilarious.

            Zero ownage.

Dude had two contrasting camps in one.

You can't say one wasn't ready for the other... it works both ways.

Williams didn't have a full training camp for Martinez and vice versa.

Im arguing that it was probably worse for Martinez as he was only training for a tune up. Williams was training for the biggest fight of his life. They were both training for different styles.

Well probably is nothing more than an opinion.

My point was that that neither were fully prepared for each other.

I think we both agree on that.

Well yeah. But imagine you're Martinez training for a nobody and then someone says you're fighting Paul Williams instead. I think Martinez's so called "stamina issues" in the Williams fight were there because he was preparing for a lesser fight.
