hopefully martinez wont get robbed like last time, paul the "slapper" williams, dd nothing to deserve a win the last time except get his overhyped ass knocked around. martinez is the goods not williams.waay overhyped not very fun to watch or very good.I hate mayweather more than any athlete that ever lived but i dont even think "take punishment" would get passed him.

Williams is a dumb fighter. All my points on Sexy if Williams actually mans up, leaves WW and comes back to fight guys that he doesn't tower over.
Of course it matters, especially when it comes to your sparring preparation.

      Leaves welterweight?

When is the last time Williams fought at welterweight?

So then what are you arguing?

Because I was replying to someone who ONLY mentioned Martinez' lack of preparation.

After he lost to the Frog, Goosen said he's moving down to WW.

And no it doesn't matter. In you're a halfway decent camp, guys spar with all kinds of styles, not just one.

I take it you want no part of my bet.

I may be wrong but wasn't Carlos Quintana the chief sparring partner in preparation for Sergio Martinez?

                  Who cares what Goosen said?

Did he actually fight a welterweight?

                  No... he hasn't.

And YES,... it does matter. Figting a stiff board like Pavlik requires completely different training and sparring partners then fighting a MOBILE, SLICK, SOUTHPAW.

                  Common sense **** here.

And what bet? Your 2.4 million? Doesn't matter to me.

Quintana came in half way thru his training camp to help after Pavlik pulled out and they had to completely switch gears in the middle of camp.
