Do divisions get unfairly labeled "weak" if the top fighters are not American?

The Klit bros use high guards and jabs I have no time for that kind of sh#t. Kessler got beat down by Ward. Martinez is latino.

Styles are what makes fighters and the european robotic defenisve style stops them from succeding in boxing.

It's not a question of black or white. Colour doesn't come into it. You have to be American. You have to be able to be appropriated by Corp America. If you don't speak English, you're ****ed for a start.

That's the nature of business. Pretend some Euro fighters were American. I don't believe for a second, for a SECOND, that Joe Calzaghe would be hated by Americans if he had been American. That's the nature of it. I don't believe otherwise.

Even I'm affected by it sometimes, as a Euro fan I will believe some U.S fighters are better than their Euro counterparts, because I am being sold an image by Corp America. Sometimes I buy it.

I think people hate Joe Calzaghe because he beat two ATGs far past their best and didn't fight RJJ at 168 a long time ago, just like how people hate De La Hoya for beating a shot JCC. Before that they hated him because he was "ducking" Jeff Hypeaholic Lacy and Mikkel Kessler, but after he schooled them he got his respect back.

I mean if Froch brought Calzaghe out of retirement right now and knocked him out, don't you think he'd be hated in by a lot of people Europe too?

Personally I like all types of boxers. I can understand why people hate Klitschko cause he is a safety first fighter not cause of his skin color, but I dont hate them. I think the middleweight division is stacked right now but cruiserweight nahhh. No fighters stand out. Huck/Drozd isnt special. Cunningham isnt really special. That division is a bunch of average fighters. Hw division only sucks cause all the contenders suck. It's not fun watching one sided fights all the time. Also us Americans arent even familiar with most Europeans cause we dont watch boxing networks from around the globe.

Btw, I dont hate European fighters. I like Pirog but I only found out about him cause he fought here. Abe is alright but im kinda leaning off his bandwagon. Sergei/Golovkin are nice as well but dont bring up Lemieux yet cause he hasnt proved himself, he could be another Tyron Brunson. Korobov is gonna be something as well.

thoughts on the klitschkos. even the german sportswriters and public boo him at there fights.

the klits are real gentlemen of the sport. and i've stooped and clowned around with verbally abusing them when i get riled up with the fantastically biased attitude by some. but that goes with the territory.

but its pretty pathetic tieing in this race stuff tunney. really.

Ofcourse, every US commentator is calling divisions that don't have top marquee US fighters as "weak". Just like every time a Euro beats a top US fighter, that fighter becomes a hyped bum all of a sudden. Case and point - Pirog and Jacobs.

Don't forget the excuse that all of the US HWs are playing football or badminton, or whatever...

HELLL NO. They would be building statutes of them by now in every city. They would be the biggest sports story on ESPN every time they fought and then they would be doing continuous updates on them and their personal lives (kind of like how they are in Germany). They would be elevated to a higher status than Jordan, Woods, and Ali put together because of their demeanor and likeability. I mean you have two brothers, both phenomenal fighters that KO the best competition they fight at least 85% of the time, both have PhDs, both are holding belts at the same time, both speak four languages, both are in phenominal shape, both contribute to charity and are very good human beings. Are you kidding me, people would be naming their babies after them.

Now the excuse is that they are boring...yeah, ok. Same people that say that they are boring are calling Popkinsa and Gayweather exciting. That's not the reason they don't like the Klitschko brothers, we all know the reason why, they just will not say it...

I don't think so. 168 is considered arguably the best division in the sport and 4 of the best 6 fighters aren't American.
