That is because Paul Williams is no where near as good as his fans think he is. And one thing most of his fans seem to forget is the fact that many of the boxing writers believed old plaster fist actually beat Williams. So his two biggest wins, Margarito and Martinez, were both controversial.

I saw the fight and no way was that win over Margarito
controversial because Williams got the nod in Margarito's
back yard so that means Paul did his thing and won
decisively. I do agree that Williams has lots of flaws
BUT he always comes to fight. Martinez rematch is
Williams biggest fight and if Williams doesn't take it
he's ducking in my book because he is not getting
Pacquiao or Floyd. This is the smartest move to make
especially since HBO wants it to happen.

He turned down the fight over money. Yes Pavlik pulled out twice but the fight was on the table for Williams again. He needs to realise that he has to take the short straw to get to the top. As Martinez did.

You have to admit, it would be fun as **** while it lasted though, Angulo comes to fight. Going straight to Martinez-Williams is something I am perfectly fine with though. I am pretty sure Paul will face Dzin though because he should have probably cut all his weight down to get to 147 if need be.

Clottey showed more durability and guts than Pacman.

Pacquiao only landed 20% of his shots which is pathetic, I repeat, pathetic for an elite fighter.

Clottey left the fight without a scratch, whilst pacman came out looking like the elephant man.

pac only landed 20 % cuz clottey was in a turltle shell, and he didnt have a scratch cuz he used to wrestle lions in ghana dude, couple punches not gonna swell u up.

You have to admit, it would be fun as **** while it lasted though, Angulo comes to fight. Going straight to Martinez-Williams is something I am perfectly fine with though. I am pretty sure Paul will face Dzin though because he should have probably cut all his weight down to get to 147 if need be.

Dzinziruk is good for him. It will be a real title for him at 154, and a winnable fight against an excellent fighter.

I think it would be a good setup to a rematch, and Martinez does deserve an easier fight after fighting Williams and Pavlik.

Plus, I will LOVE watching El Perro walking into straight lefts all night like the tool he is.
