The rematch should have been signed and sealed by now. Logical, 1st fight was great, they each had a fight in between, disagreement about who won (if anyone I had it a draw), HBO is down, the fans wanna see it, best fight available for the two, but we all know what the deal is. HBO's been talking about it for weeks. If anyone of the two has a right to a lesser fight its sergio but hes down, pauls bull****ting

Dzinziruk is good for him. It will be a real title for him at 154, and a winnable fight against an excellent fighter.

I think it would be a good setup to a rematch, and Martinez does deserve an easier fight after fighting Williams and Pavlik.

Plus, I will LOVE watching El Perro walking into straight lefts all night like the tool he is.

I aknowledge that PW could win the fight and do believe it would be quite competitive. You acting like it is certian that PW would win is absurd though.

Quintana 1 - Sergei is better at everything, everything, is 3inches taller, is not a welter weight, and Paul will not be able to hurt him. Dzinziruk outboxing him is a very real possiblity.

Santos lost to Yuri fuckin Foreman and Julio got destroyed by Kirkland and Angulo while Dzinziruk struggled with him. Don't try to tell me this is a better fight than the Martinez rematch because it's not.

I personally thought the fight was close and to be honest you all can debate this all you want but I take a much simpler approach to Paul Williams. Because all I had to do was watch Paul Williams fight one time and I asked myself two questions. The first one was,"The most feared fighter in three weight divisions?" and than shorty there after, "I don't understand why?" Because what I had heard was that Paul was a beast and than what I saw was a very flawed fighter who wings an awful lot of arm punches. And for as tall as he is also way to easy to hit. I also believe he gets way to much credit for beating two very old fighters, who have not fought since. He also got his butt handed to him by a fighter he should have never lost to if he is indeed as bad as his fans claim he is. I will say that he does deserve credit for the KO in the rematch. However, by the looks of things that seems like it was more of a fluke than anything else. Paul also has forty fights and is only 2-1 in title fights and has not dominated any divisions. So, how can he possibly be labeled the most feared fighter if he has not even dominated any particular weight division? And I will say it again he is only 2-1 in title fights it ain't like were talking Carlos Monzon here. And as far as the Martinez fight is concerned. I do believe Sergio won and this is why. I thought he looked better when he won a particular round and sort of did what he wanted when he wanted to do it. Its like the knock downs in the first round were sort of the way the fight went. Williams scores a flash knock down on an off balance Sergio and than he returns the favor by putting Paul on ***** street. I will say that in all honesty I am by far no expert and I am simply just a some what obsessive boxing fan who has loved the sport for over thirty years. In closing I will tell you my opinion, whether it's right or wrong, of Paul Williams. I believe he is by far one of the most overrated fighters I have ever seen. But, I am open minded so there is room for him to change my opinion of him.

I hear you man. Paul Williams to me is a KO waiting to happen.
He lets his opponents get there shots in at will. A big puncher
can definitely get him out of there. I give Paul his credit for
let his fist fly though. The Quintana rematch KO was a well
timed shot. You could see how he was anticipating Quintana
throwing the same punch and that's when it happened. Martinez
showed what problems a technical fighter can give Williams.
Williams/Martinez 2 is the best way to go for Paul's career in
my opinion.

It still haunts me that Quintana landed a huge overhand on Williams before he got knocked out... Quintana looks like he just has the style to beat Williams if his chin holds up.
