No it doesnt. Mayweather struggles with southpaws. But hes an infinitely better fighter than Williams. Its an insult to Mayweather to say Williams only struggles with southpaws. As if he has no other flaws. He struggles with decent fighters full stop. What good fighter has he dominated or decisively beaten? Winky-Lite? Please...Lol at "he has trouble with boxers". Which blows the ******ity of "he struggles with southpaws" out of the water. Pwill beat Sergio Martinez if you stretch the list more than 10- ur a moron. So if pwill is one of the top 10 fighters in the world, how is he Soooooo overrated? Especially when no one rates him over Floyd and manny.
And your lame 3 division argument sucks. He beat a top fighter at each weight. I never saw anyone ever saw he's guaranteed atg at any weight.
Beat a top fighter at each weight?

That is because Paul Williams is no where near as good as his fans think he is. And one thing most of his fans seem to forget is the fact that many of the boxing writers believed old plaster fist actually beat Williams. So his two biggest wins, Margarito and Martinez, were both controversial.Completely agree, huge change.
Where our opinions differ i suspect is that i don't think that it played a as big of a role in the outcome of the fight as you do.
IMO Paul will always struggle vs lefties & movement, Martinez has both. All his flaws, chin up, punch accuracy, ability to be countered, not being able to impose his size are just as evident as they have always been. His inability to learn and improve as a fighter seems rather remarkable to me.Comment
