The guy is overrated. He wants to stay up in montreal fighting washed up guys and bums to pad his record.the guy ducked the super six because he's a fraud and a coward unwilling to fight the best.

A real shame Bute isnt in the super six, imagine if he replaced Taylor instead of Green.
Show time must be ****ing their heads on the wall for dumping Taylor and taking that B level fighter Green in the tourney

Bute's addition would have been awesome no doubt

After Dawson-Pascal Bute better be RACING to fight Dawson. **** waiting for the S6 to end in 2011 it should be Dawson-Bute, Dawson has already said he would gladly fight in Montreal to face off with him so he better take that ****.

He whoops anyone in the super 6. He is in a league above them all.

You obviously have absolutely no talent for recognizing boxing talent.

There is a great deal of revisionist history, inaccurate telling of events, or outright bashing when people have no ***ing clue what there talking about going on here.

              I agree with 2501, that's a mayweather tactic.
Firstly, piror to the tournament and Ward beating Kessler, Dirrell and Ward were not on the World scene yet.

              - Froch had an oppertunity to fight Bute for the IBF Eliminator, Froch declined and decided to fight Tatevosyan (who Bute just beat) instead. Bute ended up fighting Bika and beat him far more easily than Calzaghe just did.

If claims are to be made that anybody ducked anybody, Froch ducking Bute for the IBF eliminator is the one.

              - After the controversial Andrade I the fans and the IBF wanted an immidiate rematch. Bute not content and wanting to prove it was not a fluke immidiatley agreed.

              - Ken Hershman has stated more than once that Bute was not invited to be a part of the Super 6.

Comparing this situation to Gayweather who "retired" multiple time to avoid top compitition is absurd.

Even if I felt Bute had the most talent I could not rate him in the 1 spot because you have to show me something against one of the top guys. Gotta prove yourself against the best, if you want to be the best.

I agree with everything you two above stated.

Ward's win over Kessler is the most significant victory. Bute currently though has more wins over top 10 rated SMW's than anybody else though.

By the end of the Super 6 that will change but if Bute gets a good fight after Brinkley (Stieglitz, Pascal, Dawson) then fights some of the Super 6 guys who didn't make the final he could still be on par in terms of resume and level of opposition.

He wouldn't have to wait till the very end. Dirrell, Froch, Kessler, Green some of these guys will be out relativley soon. I'm sure that fighting Bute for the IBF Title would be of interest to them.

That's some straight up b.s. because the fav right now is AW and he's barely entering his prime, so when he gets out in 2011, he will be in his prime with concrete experience and 27, so he's gonna be considered 'worn n torn and shot'? Plus it ain't Butes fault that he aint a DiBella fighter so he couldnt replace Taylor. Ill admit its unfair to rate Bute number one in the division, but dont blast the dude.

That's just Gorilla dogs being the idiot that he is

That was one of the factors that Bute wasn't invited. They wanted 3 Europeans and 3 Americans. I guess Bute being a Romanian in Canada and not having much American profile worked against him.
