Pirog crushed the American's hopes and dreams with one thudding right hand.

It just reminds me of the BS from Hatton fans post-Mayweather about how Ricky was even through six, Cortez robbed him, didn't let him fight his fight, deducted the point that made him lose his head blah blah blah...I was rooting for Ricky just as I was rooting for Danny here, but when you get knocked the **** out by a straight shot, and you get nearly knocked out a few rounds earlier, and dude takes your best shots and smiles at you...it's all just academic how the fight was scored. The better man won.

But I wouldn't of bitched about it and called it an "absolute disgrace". Like I stated, the rounds were close and could of went either way and I would be okay if someone gave them to Pirog but for TS to sit there and act like these were clear cut rounds is wrong and in a way shows the extreme bias that Europeans have for their fighters. He acts like this was Santa Cruz/Cassamayor or something extreme.

The corrupt judges were gonna try to rob Pirog.

Pirog was winning 39-36 on my scorecard before the knockout. He should've been credited with a knockdown in round 2.

            My scorecard:

            R1 - Pirog 10-9
            R2 - Pirog 10-8
            R3 - Jacobs 10-9
            R4 - Pirog 10-9
R5 - Pirog wins by spectacular KO

Give it a break, son. I had Jacobs winning and what i remember, I am sure i scored round 4 for Jacobs. That Pirog guy was shrugging his shoulders, that doesnt win rounds.

Some of these Euro nuthuggers talk like Danny was beloved by all Americans...or was on a world class level...

It was a recognized world championship fight, so yes, it was being fought on the world class level between two world class fighters.

Danny was and hopefully still is considered an elite level talent and future star. In fact, he was (and again, hopefully is) considered on of the top young stars of the Golden Boy stable. It was a big fight with big implication for the future of the middleweight division.

As far as nuthuggers go, there appear to be plenty American nuthuggers in this thread as well.

Wasnt Pirog more seasoned meaning more experienced and faced the better competition. Jacobs is green right now and needs to learn how to move and circle away from an opponents strong arm. He also needs to learn defense is a must. How to tie up is a lost art.

Jacobs has had more fights than Pirog. Tying up is effective of course, Ward uses it to great effect. It's also illegal.

Really!!! Good that he took it out of the judges hands or it would have been unfair to Pirog, I had it 3 rounds to 1 in Pirog's favour before the KO.
