The Pirog/Jacobs scorecards were an absolute disgrace

I agree TS, I had jacobs only winning one round. I thought Pirog dominated the fight.

This reminds me of how Mike Tyson was AHEAD on the scorecards against Buster Douglas when he got KO'd. a much more extreme example of course

Rounds 1,3,4 Jacobs more than doubled Pirog's punches landed i don't know how anyone can score those rounds to Pirog, sure he was pressuring but he was missing and landing in the single digits.

Ring generalship, harder/cleaner shots. Pirog hurt jacobs a couple times, almost knocked him down in the 2nd or 3rd round and he was forcing jacobs to fight his fight.

I really don't see how you could have scored jacobs anymore than 1 round. Boggles my mind!

Didn't seem like he doubled anything. It was tit for tat, with Pirog walking him down while Jacobs was expanding way too much herky jerky energy trying to get away.

Plus he got dropped in round 2.

In every round except the 3rd, which was still close, Pirog was the boss. Thats why I gave him the rounds.

Go watch the fight again, round 1,3,4 Pirog lands nothing significant and Jacobs was landing some pretty decent shots.

I had the fight even after for rounds, but could tell from the beginning that Jacobs was fighting an uphill battle. He looked so flustered and unsure of himself against Pirog. Pirog looked so comfortable and strong.

everyone can have their opinion but the fact is this fight was 4 rounds, so 1 to 2 rounds won by anyone is an even fight, was it 4 to 0, of course not, but it wasn't a shut out either. they each held their own for the fight until the brutal KO.

I love how people keep saying that Danny landed double the punches that Pirog did. Compubox is a guy with a clicker in a booth somewhere ticking off what he thinks landed and didn't land for each guy. It isn't cold, hard fact. Anyone who watched that fight knows Danny did not land double the clean punches that Pirog did.
