Yeah, baby! I'd never seen Pirog, but also never liked Jacobs. This is great. Pirog's a whacky-ass fighter, but I liked watching him.

Pirog looked Terrific

Pirog looked terrific. Pirog has head and upper body movement that u don't see from European fighter. Looked like an old school American fighter. Jacobs looked over matched. Pirog hurt Jacobs early and boxed his shoes off all night long. Pirog looks to be the goods, showing outstanding skill, really good defense and punching power. I'm saying right now that he not only beats Felix Sturm, but would give both Sergio Martinez and Paul Williams all they could handle.

Count to 20? That's an exaggeration... Jacob's mistake was that he laid on the canvas and waited too long to make up his mind whether or not to get up at 8 when you're suppose to be standing, ready to go then. If you actually paid attention, Jacobs was very attentive and had the ref let him rush to get up, he could've.... I mean the ref pretty much sped up the inevitable but don't stop the fight when they can, and want, get up and continue.

What a ridiculous article, he was coherant at 5 and would have got up if the ref didnt stop him. Not saying it would have lasted much longer buts its a championship fight, you give the guy a 10 count. Horrible stoppage!

jacobs was scared of pirogs power the whole 5 rounds ...i think even if he would of got up he would hit the canvas again and prob for good
