In the ref's defense, it was waived off after five then he tried to get up and was held down.

None of us are in there, so we don't know what he seen. Maybe the eyes rolled back or maybe he was out and awoke and tried to rise up.

Either way, good fighter, better punch and great result. Hope we can get more fights like this.

That's exactly how Pirog fights all the time. Why have so many people never watched just one of his fights on youtube? There are like 6.

For this fight, Pirog got a purse of $50k while Jacobs got $200k. Perhaps Pirog wanted to beat the **** out of Jacobs for getting the extra $150k. In any case, he did the job that Jacobs was hyped to do.
