I certainly dont agree with Hopkins that he dominated rounds 5-12 but I do believe he stole the 5th round as well as a round early and the 8th-12th.

I see how people can pick Taylor but Hopkins landed more shots and the better shots.

A draw would have been fair to both fighters.

**** that. I had it 117-112. Go taylor. Hopkins waited too long to make his move. Yes if this was a fifteen round fight he probably would have won, but it wasnt. He lost according to me and most important of all to the judges. Taylor was the fighter that was more aggresive, he took the fight too Hopkins.
I can understand why poeople that didnt keep score thought that hopkins won because he did more damage, but he never really folllowed up on anything he did. At the end he was the one being more aggresive. But when i added up my score i had it 116-111

      1 Taylor
      2 Taylor
      3 Taylor
      4 Taylor
      5 Even
      6 Hopkins
      7 Taylor
      8 taylor
      9 Taylor
      10 Hopkins
      11 Hopkins
      12 Taylor

      116 Taylor 111 Hopkins

        Bull****~!!!!!!!!!!!!

Going into the tenth it was 5 to 4 Jermain leading. Hopkins clearly won the10th, 11th and 12th. Robbery no doubt about it!

agree 100 percent!! people just see the man being active and they think hes landing. Most of the shots that Taylor threw were slipped or countered by Hopkins.

It wasn't a robbery. Taylor won the early rounds with a lot of energy, but he was tentative and Bernard slipped and ate a lot of shots on the gloves.

Hopkins looked to be letting it slide away but I thought he turned it up in the 9th, stunned Taylor in the 10th and 11th, and clearly won the 12th.

He outlanded Taylor 96-86 in total punches, and 78-50 in power shots.

Numbers never tell the whole story, but I had it 7 rounds to 5 based on cleaner counter shots, supurb defense and ring savvy.

I thought he clearly pulled it out after taking 11 and 12.

                I totally agree.

I cant imagine how anyone could have scored it a wide margin for either fighter unless you didnt pay complete attention to the whole fight and had the volume up.

Punch count doesnt matter if you start punching in the 7th round...You still lost the 1st 5 or six. HE WAITED TO LONG!

What did you have round by round?

To be honest, I don't even care how he won. I've been waiting for this day for too long to give a ****. The Taylor dynasty is now in effect!
