I really think you have missed the point of P4P. It is basically a toss up argument right now of whether Floyd or Paq is the best P4P fighter, it is just coincidence that they are the same size. There are P4P rankings all the time, they dont have to be the same size, what P4P says is that pound for pound, who is the better fighter. I dont know how else to explain it to you. Lets try an example. Kelly Pavlik was recently the recognized champion at 160, Juan Manuel Marquez is recognized champion at 135. Common sense tells us that if they actually fought JMM would die. However, pound for pound (aka P4P), I feel that the vast majority of boxing fans would agree that JMM is a more complete fighter than Pavlik. Pound for Pound of body weight, JMM is better.I think this is a null topic though. Roy's style is more fitting at those weight classes as floyd's is at the lower weights. that wasn't the best explanation lol but its kind of like apples and oranges to me. Lets stick to comparing guys in remotely the same weight range.Comment

Agreed. Dropping from HW back to 175 ruined RJJ. He would have been better off to stay at HW and let Tarver come to him.Comment

That is what makes P4P a worthy topic. If I was god I would scale them both to about 154 and make it happen.Have you guys ever seen how insanely fast and quick and explosive Floyd was at his best weight?
People on this site have bearely seen Floyd at 130. I never seen anything that fast at 130 Pounds in my life.
All the RJ easily **** needs to stop. A P4P Mayweather would be the oughest fight of Roys career and vice versa. Its a crazy match up and its hard to predict becuse Prime for Prime they were bth untouchable. Roy was bareky touched and Floyd was barely touched.Comment

At the end of the day, this is all that matters. And for the record, Jones looked pretty good doing it too. Floyd at 33 is 41-0, been a champ in four divisions and is now looking to seal his legacy with a win over Pacquiao. He's already a HOF'er and I think one could make a case he's even an all-time great. He sure looks it. However, Jones at 33 was 48-1 (the DQ loss), on the verge of making his eleventh defense at LHW (his third division) and was getting set to leapfrog the next division to take on a top five contender who outweighed him by 25lbs in the ring. So comparing them now, I think Jones has a pretty solid advantage. Floyd leapfrogs him with a win over Pacquiao IMO. Or even a Martinez. As it stands, it's Roy.Comment
