    And add that James Toney has power and is far better offensive fighter than floyd.

    Floyd cant see Roy Jones P4P because Jones was clearly far more athletic than Floyd has ever been.

    Floyd will miss non stop because Roy has faster reflex, leg speed, and hand speed than floyd p4p wise. And add that Roy has 1 punch knock out power and is actually more untouchable than floyd since roy avoids getting hit and fighter actually hit air non stop unlike floyd defense when all they hit is his shoulder, and arms which would be hurting by roy power.
    yes floyd has better defence than toney.toney vs nunn. if it wasnt for the tko toney wouldve lost the fight. it was a narrow escape. now has floyd ever been in a situation like that ? i mean if you have such a great defence how can you be losing a fight in the 12th round ?

      Lmao at all the *****'s desperately defending their loved one as usual. If you asked who would win out of Floyd v a pride of Lions, 5 Tigers, 3 Crocodiles and a couple of grizzly Bears they would still pick Floyd. Roy Jones in his prime was far superior to Mayweather, just accept it and stop crying like bitches.

        let me back up.

        im mixing in my preference of fighting style.

        i prefer the way floyd uses his intelligence and mixes up his looks and strategy. i was always a fan of toneys elusiveness and especially within close quarters but at the same time, i always felt he could have changed up making thing easier on himself and taking less punishment.

        i felt that you always got the same look from toney vs floyd who has a different look in each fight, round by round down to within the round.

        so ill retract my statement. its not the extra tools, its the different looks floyd gives compared to toney

        and this is one of the reasons why it feel peeople cant use toneys fight with roy as a way to say it would be similar between floyd and roy.

            people really need to get off the athleticism bs **** b.c that wold not be the deciding factor in the fight.

            floyd would make roy think, ALOT. and the moment roy couldnt overwhelm an opponent like hes used to, then what happens?

            i think that it wouldbe a great match and as said, i think that floyd would make roy looks very normal

                  Number two pound for pound. he was only behind Whitaker, followed by Chavez.

It's pretty hard to counter guys that are just as fast and just as skilled as Floyd is. I feel like they just out work him pretty much since they both have a pretty active jab not to mention.

                      But Roy did it all offensively & defensively. Their was really no set way to beat him and nobody ever came close in his younger days. Roy was all athleticism so the only way fights with him even got competitive was when he reached his 30's and wasn't as fast so his chin was easier to tag. Not to mention dominated going from Middleweight to Heavyweight. I know Floyd went through a few weight classes too but I believe it's even harder for the higher weight classes. I'm sure only boxing historians could list 10 fighters that started from middleweight and won the Heavyweight title if their even is 10. Theirs numerous guys that went up from the lower weight classes. Nevertheless he didn't even do it on pure skill he did it on pure athleticism. That's pretty freakin sick.
                      I don't think Whitaker beats floyd but I would definitely pick Leonard over floyd. I think thats a somewhat fair matchup fantasy wise but Mayweather Jones jr isn't a fair matchup fantasy wise for me. Thats like saying Muhammad ALI or Roy Jones who wins. Not a fair matchup. IMO
