Could Marvin go up to 168 or 175? I don't think so.
Hagler didn't " almost " lose the title
It was a highly disputed draw and Antuofermo was the champion. Hagler thoroughly outboxed Vito to the point where the ref was ready to raise Hagler's hand. You're talking about things you know nothing about.

Good lord. So since Pacquiao is universally regarded as one of the best southpaws OAT, Dawson, the guy who hasn't fought anybody is? Good lord.

I smell racism. It reeks of racism actually.
You have to realize that being the most skilled doesn't mean your'e the best. A lot of you guys are confusing that. Pac isn't the overall most skilled south paw today however he is the best southpaw today. You have guys who are more skilled than he is overall but they aren't necessarily better than him or would beat him. There is a difference.

Someone obviously missed the Hurtado fight. So you're right. Pernell didn't have offense like Manny. He had a better offense. And let's be honest, Pernell had to fight legitimate threats his entire career. lol He didn't get to fight Ricky Hatton's or David Diaz' to get cheap crowns. He was always in the ring with solid athletes.

If you're going to say you know so much about boxing and you know more than other members, at least know what you're talking about.

People in this thread aren't saying Pacquiao is not the best southpaw in boxing right now. They're saying he's not the most skilled and most talented southpaw in boxing right now. I have to agree with them because Pacquiao is not the most skilled boxer in boxing right now, but he is the best southpaw right now.

Are you saying Manny is more skilled and has more talent than other southpaw in boxing right now?

When you say "Whitaker just ran" and Hagler just relied on "endurance with no skills", that statement makes you a liar. And I'm not even talking about Pacquiao or where he ranks. I'm only focusing on your ****** comments to prove your point. You've never seen either one of them fight and you would have been better off admitting that rather than exposing your ignorance.
Whitaker used to move away from opponents with his back turned to them...wtf do you call that. Like I said before, defense takes very little skill. It's very easy. It's much more harder to actually take the initiative in fights. This is undeniable. Whitaker didn't have the skill to be an offensive fighter. A very good fighter, but on Manny's level? Nope.

Marvin Hagler lost to fighters much much smaller than himself. It is my opinion that if SRL was as big as him, he'd have stopped Hagler. SRL tagged him cleanly so much in that fight.

Not to mention, Hagler couldn't even take the title from Vito Antuofermo. Who also was much smaller (and a human punching bag).
First you said Hagler almost "lost " the title.Make up your mind on which lie you're going to use. Or just admit that you've never seen Whitaker or Hagler fight.

Prime Hector Camacho would make Pac look foolish , as far as skills go Camacho had it all over Pac , Sweet Pea would box Pacs ears off also , Pac is nowhere near the best skilled South Paw .
