It's much more harder to actually take the initiative in fights. This is undeniable. Whitaker didn't have the skill to be an offensive fighter. A very good fighter, but on Manny's level? Nope.

Marvin Hagler lost to fighters much much smaller than himself. It is my opinion that if SRL was as big as him, he'd have stopped Hagler. SRL tagged him cleanly so much in that fight.

Not to mention, Hagler couldn't even take the title from Vito Antuofermo. Who also was much smaller (and a human punching bag).
